IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
- Process shipping documents
- Match the pickup order and all relevant bookings with the booking slips
- Ensure compliance to the customers' shipping requirements/ instructions
- Ensure all assigned jobs are completed efficiently and transmitted timely
- Ensure copy of all relevant shipping documents are passed to Accounts and Permits departments for processing
- Fax documents and scan pre-alerts if required
- Sort airway bills/ export permit for posting
- Ensure permits are declared for all shipments
- Manage any other tasks as assigned
YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Diploma with at least 1-2 years of related work experience
- Knowledge of freight industry preferred
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
