Enterprise Account Executive

Rescale is pioneering the future of engineering and scientific discovery. As the leader in digital engineering, we’re transforming how products are developed—through intelligent automation, applied AI, data management, and the integration of the world’s largest network of engineering and R&D applications. Joining Rescale means becoming part of a diverse, collaborative, and mission-driven team that’s unlocking faster innovation across industries like aerospace, energy, life sciences, and manufacturing. We’re solving complex challenges that traditional HPC can’t—and we’re seeking passionate, curious minds to help build the next wave of breakthroughs.

We are looking for a high-performing Enterprise Account Executive to lead direct enterprise sales across the DACH region. This is a field-based, hunter-led role with a primary focus on new business acquisition and a secondary focus on expanding existing strategic accounts. The territory priority is clear: build Rescale’s position in automotive and manufacturing, where leading engineering organizations are investing in digital engineering transformation.

This is not a channel-led role. You will own direct engagement with named enterprise accounts, build pipeline through your own prospecting and market development, and drive complex sales cycles from first conversation to close. You will work cross-functionally with internal teams, but you are expected to lead the commercial strategy, create demand, and convert opportunities into revenue.

What You’ll Do

• Own direct enterprise sales across a defined set of strategic and named accounts in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

• Build and execute a territory plan with a clear emphasis on automotive and manufacturing enterprises.

• Generate the majority of your pipeline through proactive outbound prospecting, account-based hunting, and executive relationship building.

• Win new enterprise logos across the DACH market, with expansion of existing customers as a secondary focus.

• Prospect, qualify, develop, and close complex new business opportunities with senior stakeholders across engineering, R&D, IT, digital transformation, and executive leadership.

• Lead the full enterprise sales cycle from account planning and discovery through business case development, negotiation, procurement, and close.

• Position Rescale as a strategic platform for HPC modernization, simulation acceleration, engineering workflow transformation, and AI-driven product development.

• Sell and own the full customer stack across complex digital transformation opportunities, building trusted relationships from end users, technical champions, and engineering stakeholders through to business decision-makers, executive sponsors, and C-level leadership.

• Coordinate closely with solutions engineering, customer success, marketing, sales development, and leadership to execute account plans and advance opportunities.

• Maintain a high standard of forecast accuracy and pipeline discipline, with clear weekly visibility into commit, likely, best case, and coverage.

• Travel regularly across the DACH region to meet customers, build relationships, and create pipeline momentum. Expected travel is approximately 30%.

What Success Looks Like

• Consistently win new enterprise logos in the DACH market.

• Build a durable, high-quality pipeline in automotive and manufacturing through disciplined hunting and strong market penetration.

• Exceed quarterly and annual quota with a business mix led by net-new revenue.

• Establish executive credibility with customers navigating HPC, simulation, AI, and digital engineering transformation.

• Operate with urgency, ownership, resilience, and strong commercial discipline in a high-growth environment.

Who You Are

• A true hunter with a strong instinct for opening doors, creating opportunities, and winning competitive enterprise deals.

• Highly motivated by new business acquisition and building territory from the ground up.

• Commercially sharp, disciplined, and confident operating in front of senior enterprise stakeholders.

• Entrepreneurial in how you build market presence, prioritize accounts, and create momentum.

• Resilient and persistent, with the grit to navigate long, complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.

• Accountable for your number, your forecast, your pipeline quality, and your execution.

• Collaborative and low-ego, while remaining highly driven and performance-oriented.

Key Qualifications

• 5+ years of success in enterprise sales, ideally selling complex technical, cloud, SaaS, platform, or engineering technology solutions.

• Strong track record of direct new business acquisition in the DACH market.

• Proven hunter mentality, with clear evidence of building pipeline independently and winning new logos.

• Experience selling into large enterprise accounts within automotive, manufacturing, industrial, engineering software, simulation, HPC, cloud, or adjacent technology environments is strongly preferred.

• Demonstrated success managing long, complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles.

• Ability to engage credibly with both technical buyers and executive decision-makers.

• Strong consultative selling, discovery, negotiation, and closing skills.

• Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms with disciplined pipeline and forecast management.

• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills in both German and English.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a focused set of strategic named accounts.

• Must be based in the DACH region and able to travel regularly across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
