About Aurora

Aurora is the AI-native Lifestyle Operating System for the world's highest performers.

A proactive, conversational lifestyle management product relied on by the world's top founders, athletes, and creatives to advise, execute, and manage their travel, dining, wellness, experiences, and gifting globally.

Over half our members use every single day, 95% every week, and in our first 6 months, member spend & engagement is outperforming industry benchmarks by 5×.

Aurora is backed and chaired by Alex Macdonald, the most successful founder in this category, and has raised $12M from experienced operators and tier-1 investors.

We are now expanding the founding engineering team as we scale the product and the member base.

Aurora is built in person from our offices in London, New York, and Los Angeles. The engineering team works from our London office in Belgravia, with flexible remote days.

You can find our recent launch video here.

The Founding Product Designer

Our team of 20 is searching for a world-class Product Designer to help define Aurora’s UI, UX, and product experience.

Aurora is building the definitive lifestyle operating system: a platform designed to maximize exploration, relationships, and longevity for the world’s highest performers.

We believe the most important parts of life should not create administrative burden. They should be effortless to manage, beautiful to discover, and rewarding to invest in.

Today, Aurora combines AI, conversational interfaces, health data, travel, dining, experiences, luxury goods, gifting, logistics, and human expertise into a single experience. Tomorrow, we intend to become a truly multi-device, multi-modal, multiplayer platform that powers every aspect of modern lifestyle management.

Design sits at the center of that mission.

We’re not looking for someone to execute requirements. We’re looking for someone who can identify problems, challenge assumptions, define solutions, and craft experiences that feel intuitive, personal, and delightful.

You’ll own product design end-to-end:

• Discovering member problems and opportunities
• Designing interaction models and product experiences
• Creating production-ready designs and systems
• Working directly with engineering and product to ship
• Raising the bar for usability, clarity, and craftsmanship across Aurora

Currently, Aurora serves a highly engaged member base with social-media-level engagement metrics and industry-leading transaction frequency and spend.

The opportunity ahead is substantial.

Lifestyle is the ultimate wedge into trust, engagement, and spending. Just as businesses run on Stripe’s rails, we believe life will increasingly run on Aurora’s rails.

You’ll help shape a product used multiple times per day by some of the world’s most ambitious individuals, fundamentally changing how they discover, plan, book, and manage their lives.

You do not need extensive premium consumer experience. In fact, we actively welcome designers who are inspired by modern product thinking and exceptional user experience rather than traditional conventions.

Our team cares deeply about elegant systems, thoughtful details, and building products that feel joyful to use.

The role reports directly to the CTO, with close collaboration with the CEO, and has the potential to grow into a senior leadership position spanning both design and product.

If you’re excited by ambitious product challenges, obsessive attention to detail, and the opportunity to define a new category from first principles, we’d love to hear from you.

Our Principles

We’re a deeply committed team of tier-1 backed and exited operators united by our four core principles:
