CI&T is looking for a Senior Data Architect specialized in integrations to join a modernization initiative for a leading client in the digital commerce industry. This is a strategic role: the person hired will be the technical reference responsible for unifying data across core business systems — ERP, CRM, finance, and inventory management — and the client's customer-facing platform, ensuring that critical information, such as revenue figures, flows consistently and reliably across the entire operation.
The scope of this position covers the full integration lifecycle: from architecture design to implementation, governance, and continuous optimization of data flows. The role combines deep technical expertise in the integration platform with a data governance mindset, and includes direct collaboration with enterprise architects, product owners, and ERP functional consultants to translate business needs into robust, scalable integration solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Designs and documents end-to-end integration architecture, defining real-time, batch, and event-driven communication patterns across legacy systems, e-commerce platforms, SaaS ecosystems, and microservices.
- Develops and optimizes integration flows between the integration platform and the client's ERP, leveraging native connectors and multiple connection points to ensure reliable data synchronization.
- Defines development best practices, naming standards, and component reuse, ensuring consistency and maintainability across integration teams.
- Establishes centralized logging, auditing, and exception-handling strategies, enabling full traceability of business-critical data flows.
- Performs infrastructure sizing for the integration platform, optimizing concurrency, rate limiting, and resource consumption to ensure performance at scale.
- Manages the promotion of integration processes across environments (development, QA, and production) and version control, through structured deployment practices.
- Provides technical leadership to the development team by conducting code reviews and mentoring, ensuring adherence to the organization's architecture guidelines.
- Collaborates directly with product owners, enterprise architects, and ERP functional specialists to map data requirements and translate them into efficient integration flows.
