You've Never Been Satisfied with "Good Enough."
You didn't get into this to manage one piece of a project. You got into it to change how the world gets built.
At Accenture Construct, that's the job. You'll help deliver the data centers, power grids, rail networks, factories and public infrastructure that keep communities moving — smarter, safer and more sustainably.
You'll work alongside people who think big and act bold: project managers, engineers, technologists and strategists who pair real-world delivery with AI. And you won't be handed a slice of it. We take on whole programs, from early strategy through construction and handover, and we stand behind how they land.
Because “good enough” builds the past. You're here to build what's next. Visit us here to learn more about Accenture Construct As Accenture continues to grow, you may see a variety of new career opportunities, and depending on the role and location you may be directed to apply through Accenture LLP or one of our other legal entities - Accenture Construct LLC or Accenture Construct Inc., with benefits varying by country and role, so please check with your recruiter for details.
THE WORK:
- You'll analyze invitation-to-bid (ITB) documents, including construction drawings, specifications, and scope of work documents to determine the electrical requirements for data center and other complex projects.
- You'll perform detailed quantity take-offs (QTOs) using digital take-off software (e.g., Bluebeam, Accubid, LiveCount).
- You'll prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, subcontractors, and other direct costs.
- You'll solicit, analyze, and level vendor and subcontractor quotes to ensure completeness and competitiveness.
- You'll develop detailed basis of estimate (BOE) documentation, outlining assumptions, inclusions, exclusions, and clarifications.
- You'll collaborate with the operations and pre-construction team to develop value-engineering ideas and constructability reviews.
- You'll participate in pre-bid and post-bid meetings (virtually) with clients, engineers, and general contractors.
- You'll utilize estimating software (e.g., Accubid, ConEst, McCormick) to build and format professional proposals.
- You'll maintain current knowledge of electrical codes, industry standards, material pricing, and labor rates.
- You'll manage multiple estimates simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines.
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Estimator in the construction industry
- Proven experience estimating large-scale commercial or industrial electrical projects. Direct experience with data center projects is required
