Account Executive

Working at Omnisend is... kind of boring.   Not the soul-crushing kind of boring — more like the “no drama, no chaos, just smart people doing great work” kind. The kind that lets you focus on what matters, without pointless meetings, micromanagement, or bureaucracy. We’re data-driven. We test, we iterate, we improve. Gut feelings don’t drive decisions — insights do. We trust each other. We’re transparent, give real feedback, and actually listen. No egos, no hand-holding — just a team of experienced professionals moving fast, adapting easily, and delivering impact. Omnisend is customer-funded and customer-driven. Our work is rooted in solving real problems that help ecommerce brands grow. No empty promises — we bring in results. And yes, we have fun. But the grown-up kind — workations, team gatherings, the occasional party. No forced fun, no awkward icebreakers. Just genuine moments with a team that actually enjoys working together.

What you’ll do @Omnisend:

As a Junior Account Executive on our Sales Team, you will help small to mid-sized ecommerce businesses find the right marketing solution for their growth.

You will work with prospective customers across our global market, with a primary focus on Europe and European brands. That means speaking with customers from different countries, cultures, and business environments and adapting your approach to each one.

You will manage inbound opportunities while also developing the skills needed to create your own pipeline through outbound prospecting. You will own the sales process from initial conversation through close, with coaching and support from experienced sales leaders and teammates.

We are an outcomes-oriented team. Your success will be measured by the results you deliver, not simply the number of activities you complete. Speed, execution, and consistency matter most.

**Key Responsibilities:
**

• Pipeline Development: Build a healthy pipeline through inbound leads, outbound prospecting, and consistent follow-up.

• Industry Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of the current ecommerce marketing landscape.

• Discovery: Understand each prospect’s business, marketing strategy, challenges, goals, and decision-making process.

• Product Demonstrations: Deliver clear and compelling demonstrations that connect Omnisend’s capabilities to the customer’s needs.

• Sales Cycle Management: Own opportunities from the first conversation through negotiation and close.

• Global Selling: Communicate effectively with prospects from different countries, cultures, and professional backgrounds.

• Speed and Execution: Move opportunities forward quickly, maintain momentum, and complete commitments without unnecessary delays.

• Results: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets while continuously improving your performance.

• CRM Management: Maintain accurate opportunity details, forecasts, next steps, and sales activity in HubSpot and other assigned tools.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Marketing, Partnerships, Customer Success, Onboarding, and Product to improve the customer experience.

• Continuous Learning: Develop a strong understanding of ecommerce, digital marketing, email, SMS, and the competitive landscape.

• Travel: Occasionally travel to meet with customers, attend events, or work with Omnisend teams in person.

We expect that you’ll bring:

• Sales Experience: 1-3 years of proven experience in a sales or business development role.

• Results Orientation: You take ownership of your goals and drive results under any circumstance.

• Speed: You act with urgency, follow through quickly, and understand that strong execution creates opportunities.

• Communication Skills: You can communicate clearly, confidently, and professionally in English, both verbally and in writing.

• Coachability: You actively seek feedback, apply it quickly, and are motivated to improve.

• Curiosity: You ask thoughtful questions and want to understand how businesses operate before recommending a solution.

• Organization: You can manage multiple conversations, priorities, and next steps without losing attention to detail.

• Global Mindset: You are comfortable working with customers and teammates from different cultures, markets, and backgrounds.

• Adaptability: You can perform in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where priorities may change.

• Team Focus: You contribute to the success of the wider team and collaborate well across departments.

• Education: 🤷 We care more about your ability, mindset, and results than a specific degree or institution.

• Experience with SaaS, ecommerce, digital marketing, or marketing technology.

• Previous sales development, business development, or closing experience.

• Familiarity with email or SMS marketing automation.

• Experience working with international customers.
