Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that supports the independently incorporated Planned Parenthood affiliates, which operate non-profit health centers across the U.S. PPFA also works to educate the public on and advocate for issues of sexual and reproductive health.

The Stronger Change Office (SCO) is an affiliate-driven health care transformation office designed by, for, and with affiliate leadership across the country. We are focused on strengthening affiliates and facilitating the innovation needed to build the Planned Parenthood of the future. 

The Stronger Change Office seeks a detail-oriented, proactive, and organized Associate Director, Stronger Business Innovation & Sustainability. This job reports to the Senior Director, Stronger Operations and Business. This is a dynamic, project-based role that will evolve based on the needs and priorities collectively identified by Stronger affiliates. This position is expected to promote inclusion and belonging as core values of PPFA and work with others in a culturally informed way. 

Purpose:

 The Associate Director, Stronger Business Innovation & Sustainability provides strategic business operations and project management leadership to Stronger’s financial sustainability and innovation opportunities work. This role will lead the execution of high-impact partnerships with affiliates, mission-aligned innovators (e.g. start-ups, FemTech companies, etc.) , and external vendors to drive program sustainability. The role requires an entrepreneurial and analytical individual capable of independently driving complex workstreams, from pilot development and commercial structuring to landscape scanning and financial analysis, ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of Stronger’s business model innovation activities supporting long-term sustainability of PPFA affiliates.

• Project Management: 
• Own and manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring alignment between affiliate capacity and strategic program goals.
• Drive project-based work across workstreams focused on affiliate sustainability, including milestone tracking, risk mitigation, and the creation of project management and alignment materials for cross-functional leadership.
