Account Executive

About FinchWe are on a mission to revolutionize employment by building the infrastructure that powers every facet of work. To do this, we're looking for individuals who think about problems holistically and in-depth, who are relentlessly curious, self-starters, and determined to drive ideas from inception through to completion.
Finch is a Series B company backed by a fantastic set of firms, angels, and our developers including General Catalyst, Menlo Ventures, Homebrew, BoxGroup, YCombinator, Charley (1st business hire at Plaid), Sima (ex-Head of Biz Dev at Plaid), Henrique + Pedro (co-CEOs at Brex), Jeff + Wayne (co-CEOs at Digits), Immad (CEO at Mercury), Sam (CEO at Vouch Insurance), Karim (CTO at Ramp), and more.
About Our TeamWe're a team of problem solvers who aren’t afraid to challenge assumptions. We value velocity, curiosity, empathy, and diverse perspectives. Everyone on the team is excited about the scope of the problems we address and the potential impact our work can have on the global workforce. We realize that the value we provide comes with great responsibilities, and therefore make security and privacy our highest priorities.
We come from a diverse set of backgrounds and each member brings different skills to the group. You're encouraged to apply even if your experience doesn't precisely match the job description. Your skills and potential will stand out—and set you apart—especially if your career has taken some extraordinary twists and turns.
The Role We’re looking for a hunter-minded, high-performing Account Executive to own and scale revenue growth across strategic mid-market and lower enterprise segments. You’ll be responsible for the full sales cycle—from outbound prospecting through close—navigating technical sales, building deep relationships, and unlocking new verticals and opportunities. This is a unique opportunity to join a well-funded Series B company at a critical inflection point and help shape our GTM motion from the ground up. You'll partner closely with leadership, product, and marketing to influence roadmap, feedback loops, and GTM strategy.

What You Will Do

• Own the full-cycle sales process—from pipeline generation to negotiation and close
• Source and close new logo deals across high-value mid-market and lower enterprise accounts
• Develop a strategic territory plan with a clear focus on outbound and greenfield opportunities
• Build and execute personalized, multi-threaded sales campaigns targeting both technical and economic buyers (CTOs, Heads of Ops, HR, Finance)
• Clearly articulate Finch’s platform value across technical integrations and business outcomes
• Drive collaboration across marketing, product, and partnerships to unlock new verticals and use cases
• Provide customer feedback that influences product roadmap and market positioning
• Help scale sales playbooks, tools, and best practices as we expand our GTM engine

Who You Are

• Proven closer: You’ve hit or exceeded quota in a closing role at a high-growth B2B SaaS company, with 3–6+ years of experience selling to mid-market or enterprise buyers
• Hunter DNA: You thrive on outbound prospecting and building pipeline from scratch; you’re energized by creating opportunities, not waiting for them
• Strategic seller: You understand multi-threaded deal cycles, can speak to both technical and business value, and are comfortable navigating ambiguity
• Operationally excellent: You run a tight sales process, forecast accurately, and maintain a clean pipeline
• Coachability + curiosity: You’re always looking to improve and seek feedback proactively
• Collaborative: You bring others along with you and believe winning is a team sport

Bonus

• Experience selling to fintech, HR tech, retirement, benefits, or insurance ecosystems
• Background in developer platforms, APIs, or infrastructure tools

Why Finch

• Foundational role: Help shape the future of our sales team and GTM strategy
• Massive market: We’re building infrastructure in a $100B+ industry that touches every employer and employee in the world
• Strong backing: World-class investors and a leadership team with deep startup experience
• Customer impact: Work with customers that are redefining the way people get paid, insured, and employed

Benefits

• Competitive equity with a 10-year exercise window
• Full medical, dental, and vision coverage (100% for employees, 85% for dependents)
• Unlimited PTO
• 401(k) plan
• Regular team offsites and meetups
• Hybrid work: 3 days/week in our San Francisco office (Tue-Thu) with lunch any day you're in office This is a hybrid role requiring three days per week in our San Francisco office (160 Pine St, Tue-Thu).   Apply Now If you're a builder who thrives in fast-paced, high-ownership environments and you’re excited by the opportunity to help define the future of employment infrastructure.
