Technical Recruiter

About Treeswift

In the face of rising threats, increasing pressure on affordability, and unprecedented demand for power, Treeswift empowers energy companies to modernize their field work to meet the growth and challenges ahead.

We build physical AI for the field worker: whether on foot or in a vehicle, our technology is an ironman suit for engineers, linemen, and vegetation crews: same worker, same boots on the ground, now operating at 10x productivity. Our platform is powered by cutting edge hardware, sensors (LiDAR, camera, etc…), AI and software designed to revolutionize work in the toughest environments.

Our technology has enabled our customers to reduce wildfire risk, regulatory and outage risk from vegetation, avoid delays and cost overruns in new construction, and accelerate recovery from severe storms.

To tackle this challenge, we are bringing together a team of mission-driven experts with deep industry experience in robotics (Penn, Caltech, CMU) and enterprise software development (Palantir, Stripe, Oracle, MongoDB). We have raised funding from leading investors including Penny Pritzker’s Inspired Capital.

We are headquartered in midtown Manhattan, with additional offices in San Francisco and Philadelphia.

Our growth is only accelerating. We’re looking for deeply curious and highly ambitious people who want to have a real world impact. Come build the future of (field) work with us.

The Position

Treeswift is looking for a Senior Recruiter to join our team, this is a senior individual contributor role focused primarily on technical recruiting. You will partner day to day with leaders across Engineering, Hardware, Software, and other functions as the business evolves. You’ll own searches end-to-end, from helping leaders define what they need to identifying and engaging exceptional talent through close.

We’re looking for someone who has recruited in an early-stage or high-growth technology company and knows what it takes to build teams in an environment where the company, priorities, and recruiting needs are constantly evolving.

You know how to find exceptional people and you have strong instincts about technical talent. You are someone who can quickly learn a new market, function, or talent pool when the business needs it. This is not a role for someone who simply knows how to run a recruiting process. We’re looking for a recruiter who can be a true talent partner to the business.

What You'll Do

• Own full-cycle recruiting for Hardware and Robotics searches from role scoping and sourcing strategy through close

• Partner closely with hiring managers to deeply understand technical requirements, calibrate on candidates, and move searches forward with speed and clarity

• Build proactive candidate pipelines through LinkedIn, referrals, technical communities, and other creative sourcing channels for hard-to-find hardware and robotics talent - this is not just a reactive inbound role

• You are a specialist in this area but can also flex into embedded searches within engineering as priorities shift or the business.

• Drive an excellent candidate experience from first touch through offer - keeping candidates engaged, informed, and excited about Treeswift

• Contribute to how we evolve our recruiting practices: interview structure, evaluation frameworks, offer strategy, and beyond

• Represent Treeswift's brand and mission to every candidate you interact with and be able to sell the Hardware vision

Who You Are

• You have 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with meaningful experience recruiting technical talent, bonus points for Hardware and Robotics experience

• You’ve worked in an early-stage, high-growth, or hyper-growth technology company where priorities move quickly and recruiting needs evolve with the business

• You're a strong sourcer who doesn't wait for inbound. You know how to find and engage hardware and robotics talent who aren't actively looking, including in niche or specialized technical communities

• You have strong technical recruiting instincts and can hold your own with engineering and technical leaders, even when recruiting for a function or technology you haven't worked on before

• You care deeply about candidate experience and know how to sell a company, role, and opportunity authentically

• You have experience at a company that has scaled quickly and can point to the teams you've helped build along the way

• You've worked in fast-moving environments where priorities shift and processes are still being built - and you've thrived in that ambiguity rather than been slowed down by it

What We Value

• Mission first. We value team members who are focused on working towards the best outcomes for the customer and the business.

• Curiosity. We are constantly learning – from each other and from our customers.. We aren’t afraid to learn we were wrong in the process and adapt our approach accordingly.

• Ownership mindset. If you see an opportunity for improvement, run with it. We believe that good ideas can come from anywhere, no matter your role.

Benefits

• Competitive salary and equity package

• Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your eligible dependents

• Life insurance and short- and long-term disability coverage

• 16 weeks of fully paid parental leave to support all new parents

• Flexible, unlimited paid time off

• 401(k) retirement savings plan

• Free OneMedical membership

• Commuter benefits

• Snacks, goodies, and team lunches provided twice a week to keep you fueled and connected with your colleagues.
