About Scorewarrior
We're a game developer and publisher from Cyprus with one single game in the 4x strategy genre: Total Battle. We're a one-game company on purpose, because in everything we do, we focus.
We are currently concentrating on two major goals:
-
To make our game #1 in its genre.
-
To make our company the best place to work on games.
And we're far from there, we still have a lot of work to do.
That's why we need you.
We are seeking a Senior Legal Consultant to provide expert legal advice and guidance across a wide range of legal matters. The role includes leading projects within the company’s Legal Divisions, ensuring compliance with global regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, DSA, OSA, consumer protection laws, and platform policies (e.g., Facebook, Google, Apple). The successful candidate will advise on international, multidivisional, and cross-departmental matters while delivering tailored strategies that support business needs and strengthen compliance.
What will you do?
-
Draft, review, and negotiate complex agreements, including marketing, advertising, payment services, corporate, data protection, employment, rental, and game supplier agreements.
-
Advise on commercial, employment, intellectual property, data protection, gaming, and international regulatory matters.
-
Provide IP advice to all departments and support intellectual property protection by registering and maintaining IP rights, managing trademark rights, handling copyright enforcement and takedowns, addressing IP complaints and reports of illegal use, and collaborating with global IP firms and trademark agents.
-
Provide guidance on digital services regulations (DSA, OSA, DMA, and related frameworks), including drafting and reviewing internal procedures, compliance monitoring, and enforcement processes.
-
Provide guidance on global data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy laws), including handling data subject requests, audits, cross-border transfers, and internal compliance frameworks.
-
Research and analyze legislation across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with gaming, digital services, and other relevant markets where the company operates, while staying updated on new legal developments.
