About Eventogy

Eventogy is an enterprise event management platform trusted by global banks, financial institutions and some of the world’s largest law firms, including Deutsche Bank, Clifford Chance and Linklaters. We help organisations manage complex corporate event programmes, bringing together the attendee experience, business processes and technology their teams rely on.

We’re looking for an experienced Account Executive to win new business and grow customer relationships across the UK and Europe. You will bring proven enterprise closing ability, a disciplined sales process and the experience to help us make the way we sell more repeatable as we grow.

The role

You will manage the full sales cycle, from identifying an opportunity and understanding the buyer’s needs through to negotiation and close. Alongside new business, you will own an agreed portfolio of customer relationships, helping those organisations get more value from Eventogy through renewals and expansion.

You will be our first Account Executive, working directly with our Commercial Director. As well as selling, you will help shape how we sell: how we qualify, how deals move through the pipeline, how we forecast, and how we onboard the people who join the team after you.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing new business across the UK and Europe, with a focus on financial services, legal and professional services.
• Running discovery meetings and product demonstrations that connect customer needs with a clear commercial case.
• Managing opportunities through proposals, procurement, legal and security reviews to close.
• Building relationships across buying teams, understanding how decisions are made and helping customers move forward.
• Managing renewals and identifying opportunities to expand into additional teams, products and use cases.
• Maintaining an accurate pipeline and forecast, with clear next steps and an honest assessment of risk.
• Helping design and embed a repeatable sales process, including qualification criteria, pipeline stages, deal reviews and forecasting.
• Working with product and delivery colleagues to make sure customer requirements are understood and commitments can be fulfilled.
• Using AI tools to increase your capacity and sharpen your preparation.

What you will bring

You are an experienced enterprise software seller who has worked in a well-run sales team and understands why it worked. You qualify rigorously, run a disciplined pipeline and take responsibility for closing. You understand complex buying processes and can maintain momentum through lengthy evaluations and negotiations.

You should bring:

• A track record of closing enterprise software deals with long, multi-stakeholder buying cycles, and consistently hitting target.
• Hands-on experience of a structured sales methodology such as MEDDPICC, Command of the Message or similar, and the ability to explain how you apply it.
• Disciplined pipeline management and forecasting, with the judgement to know where we can win and when to walk away.
• Strong discovery, demonstration and negotiation skills.
• Experience building senior customer relationships and growing accounts.
• Practical, everyday use of AI in your sales work, and an appetite to do more with it.
• Clear communication, careful preparation and reliable follow-through.
• The initiative to set your own plan, solve problems and move work forward without waiting for detailed instructions.

Experience in event technology, corporate events or corporate access would be a strong advantage. That could include selling relevant platforms or having worked directly within events or corporate access teams alongside your software sales experience.

Experience selling into banks, financial institutions, law firms or other complex enterprise organisations is also highly relevant.

How we use AI

AI is a big part of how we work. We expect you to already use it day to day for research, preparation and follow-up, and to want to go further. You don’t need to be an expert, because we will help you build more advanced workflows once you join.

What you can expect

• A base salary of £60,000–£80,000, depending on experience, plus commission rewarding new business, account growth and retention.
• The opportunity to sell an established enterprise platform to leading organisations.
• A real say in shaping how we sell as the team grows.
• Close collaboration with commercial, product and delivery colleagues.
• Hybrid working with our team in Farringdon, London.

How to apply

Apply with your CV and brief answers to these questions:

• Tell us about an enterprise software deal you personally closed. What made it complex, what did you do and what was the outcome?
• How do you run your pipeline? Tell us how you qualify, what stages you use and how you forecast.
• How do you use AI in your sales work today? A few lines is fine.

Our interview process will include a practical commercial exercise and a conversation about how you run, and would build, a sales process. Please use anonymised examples and avoid sharing confidential customer or employer information.
