Institutional Sales Analyst

About Hex Trust

Hex Trust is a fully-licensed digital asset financial institution building the infrastructure institutions use to operate in crypto. Custody, staking, capital markets, investment solutions, payments, fiat ramping, RWAs, and tokenization — all on one regulated platform.

Founded in 2018, we're licensed across multiple jurisdictions (HK, SG, Dubai, SVG). As institutional capital moves into crypto and the RWA and payments narratives accelerate, we're one of the few players who can serve institutions as a fully-regulated, one-stop-shop partner. We serve 600+ institutional clients globally: funds, family offices, banks, foundations, token issuers, payment firms, OTC desks, and corporates.

We're well-capitalized, growing consistently, and built on a sustainable model. We operate 24/7 from hubs in Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai, and Vietnam.

You'll work alongside a senior commercial team, own real institutional relationships, and get exposure to the most active parts of the market. We're scaling fast. If you want to sell into the institutional side of crypto at a firm that's actually licensed to do it, this is the place.

Position Summary

This is a high-growth seat for an early-career sales professional looking to build a career in institutional digital assets. You will work alongside our VPs across the Hex Safe client portfolio, while also owning a book of smaller and mid-sized accounts directly.

The role is hands-on from day one: pipeline support, client coverage, deal execution, and event-driven origination. You will get exposure to the full institutional crypto stack: custody, WaaS, staking, tokenization and the senior relationships that come with it.

We expect the person in this seat to grow quickly into a quota-carrying Institutional Sales Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Support VPs and Senior Institutional sales members across the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, deal managing, onboarding coordination, and day to day ongoing client coverage.
• Own a portfolio of smaller and mid-sized institutional clients directly to drive trading/client activation, retention, and grow wallet share.
• Prepare client-facing materials: pitch decks, commercial proposals, RFP responses, account plans, and follow-up notes.
• Maintain pipeline hygiene and HubSpot CRM accuracy; produce weekly pipeline, activity, and revenue reporting for the team.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with product, client operations, compliance, and legal to move deals through onboarding.
• Attend industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings to build a personal network and source new opportunities.
• Track market intelligence, competitor moves, and client signal; feed insights back to product, marketing, and leadership.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in sales, business development, client coverage, or a comparable client-facing role at a financial institution, crypto firm, or fintech. No fresh graduates.
• Solid grounding in crypto and traditional finance concepts. Comfortable discussing custody, wallets, staking, tokenization, and institutional workflows with clients.
• Highly comfortable with AI tools (Claude or similar) and Google Workspace; able to use both to move faster on administrative tasks, outreach, and deliverables.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English. Fluency in Mandarin is required.
• Willing and motivated to attend conferences, industry events, and networking functions to build relationships and generate pipeline.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-driven; thrives in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment with senior stakeholders.
• Hong Kong-based; full-time position.
