Sales Manager

We’re looking for a friendly, organized, and experienced storyteller who’s got a passion for managing and getting it done. Bonus points if you relate to the following:

1. Walking through the doors of Target feels like stepping into vacation.

2. When you close your eyes, you see red and white.

3. You know what puts the “zhay” in Tarzhay

4. You can truthfully say that you’ve never been lost in a grocery store, and yet you go to Target when you want to get lost.

5. You start stories with, “This one time, on POL…”

About You:

• You have a deep understanding of Target, including current trends and how the scale of business can impact other channels

• You connect to your buyer’s brain and heart, combining compelling data with actionable insights, and the throughline is your brand story

• You embody the Juntos es Mejor (Together is Better) spirit because you genuinely enjoy connecting with people and exchanging ideas

• ‘Results,’ ‘Driven,’ and ‘Initiative’ are three words that you live by (and maybe even sticky-noted onto your bathroom mirror at some point in your life).

• Your communication cuts through mumbo-jumbo-yodel-lay-yehaw with precision, punctuality, and poise.

• Instead of “me, myself, I,” you think, “guest, guest, and guest.”

• You have big goals, but no problem is too small for you to lend a helping hand.

• Problem-solving is your idea of a fun pastime—especially when you’ve got a taco in hand.

What You Will Do:

• Lead Sales with Target across all Siete temperature states & categories.

• Create strategies, plans, and selling stories to support Siete’s distribution goals with every shelf revision and transition.

• Ensure Siete’s shelf placement enables brand awareness goals and maximizes on-shelf availability.

• Build and execute a competitive promotion and display strategy that achieves Siete’s net revenue goals and drives Target’s category performance.

• Partner with Siete Shopper Marketing to create a Roundel plan that supports Siete & Target’s business goals.

• Own the sales order forecast and work closely with Sales Planning and Demand Planning to measure progress to plan.

• Represent and advocate internally for Target’s needs, aligning to their evergreen growth pillars of wellness, newness, and seasonal moments.

• Develop, maintain, and elevate relationships with Target team members.

• Manage customer trade spend within annual spending guidelines.

• Partner with Target procurement to minimize out of stocks and ensure display readiness.

• Monitor broker performance against annual objectives and grow broker representatives into brand experts.

• Coordinate with Siete cross-functional leaders and event planners to represent Siete in large Target meeting formats such as visits to Siete HQ, Target’s Innovation Collective, and other high-level meetings.

• Analyze and report back on market conditions, promotion execution, customer issues, and competitive intelligence.

• Represent Siete at industry conferences and trade events.

• Willing to travel up to 15% and attend trade shows.

Your Experience:

• 5+ years relevant selling experience, direct selling experience with Target and WM preferred

• Prior experience in CPG food/beverage is a must.

• Relationship experience with retail/grocery, brokers, distributors, etc.

• Strong knowledge of Syndicated Data (SPINS, Nielsen, Circana, etc.), Target systems experience preferred
