Position Summary:
The Construction Quality Control (QC) Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all quality control activities on construction projects to ensure compliance with contract specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. This role ensures that all materials, workmanship, and construction processes meet established quality standards while supporting project timelines and budgets. This position is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm as a two month contract.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the project-specific Quality Control Plan (QCP)
- Ensure all construction activities comply with contract documents, drawings, specifications, and applicable codes
- Conduct daily inspections of work in progress to verify adherence to quality standards
- Coordinate and perform three phases of control: preparatory, initial, and follow-up inspections
- Review and approve submittals, shop drawings, material certifications, and test reports
