Nuclera is a venture-backed, founder-driven biotech company headquartered in Cambridge, UK with significant operations in Boston, USA. Our purpose is to improve human health by making proteins accessible to life science researchers around the world.

In 2024, we launched eProtein Discovery™ - a breakthrough protein expression, characterization, and purification platform, consisting of cloud-based software and a lab-based instrument (with proprietary cartridges and consumables). Since then, we have established a growing installed base in North America, Europe and Asia, receiving numerous awards and customer accolades.

As a key player in a small engineering team, you will support the next stage of Nuclera’s growth through:

New Products - Contributing to development of a new product platform and its support tools.
Installed Base Support - Sustaining and being the internal expert and primary point of contact for manufacturing and field support issues relating to current generation Instrument.

Over time (6-12 months), your skills and responsibilities will broaden to include other software languages and technologies. This may also extend to electronics and PCB design.
