Job Summary
This Sr Network/Security datapath/infrastructure Software Engineer will be at the forefront of architecture, design and implementation of Versa’s high-performance forwarding software. You will be part of an highly-experienced engineering team developing high-performance packet and security service processing capabilities on new compute platforms. You will be part of and work closely with a team of. The candidate must have experience with developing software for industry leading multi-core architecture systems, network and security interfaces, and be able to develop best practices and guidelines for such applications. The candidate must have a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent field of study and have 5-10 years of hands-on experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop software for real-time network applications on a multi-core architecture.
- Design, Develop and maintain the NextGen Packet Forwarding and security features for SDWAN/SASE/SSE platforms.
- Work across Development, System Test, PLM and TAC teams
- Work on challenging problems and bring in new ideas for platform optimization.

- Deep understanding of TCP/IP and advanced knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies.
- Expertise with general routing/switching, routing protocols (e.g BGP, OSPF), branch and DataCenter Architectures
