Credit Strategy Manager

At Younited, we believe credit and banking should feel as simple, fast and transparent as everything else in your digital life.

So we build financial services that way. We combine technology, data and automation to rethink the way people borrow, pay, save and manage their money.

Today, more than 1.5 million customers trust us, and nearly 500 employees contribute to our growth across 4 European countries.

What we build

• • Younited Credit – instant consumer credit, directly accessible to customers.
  • Younited Pay – instalment payment and financing solutions embedded into our partners' customer journeys.
  • Younited Cashback – cashback and personalised offers, enhanced by open banking data.
  • Younited Bank – our everyday banking offering, currently available through helios by Younited and being expanded.

Our ambition is to build a financial partner people genuinely trust, combining simplicity, transparency and responsible finance. As a certified B Corp, we integrate social and environmental considerations into the way we build our business.

The 5 values we work by

• • Make it simple - in the product, in the customer experience and in how we organise. Be transparent.
  • Act as an entrepreneur - take ownership, play as a team, dare to try and accept failure.
  • Innovate or die - challenge the status quo, however impossible it may seem.
  • Faster is better - speed over perfection, alignment over debate.
  • No limit - shoot for the moon, stay humble.

We give passionate problem-solvers the space to do their best work in diverse and inclusive teams across Europe, because that is how we build better financial products for our customers and partners.

• Provide recommendations to the Business Unit on segment strategy, including whether segments should be opened, maintained or closed

2) Develop credit analyses and recommendations

• Work with CPM on default and recovery curves, risk assumptions, scores and rates, including country-specific topics and salary-linked loans.
• Analyse current production and balance-sheet risk to determine whether performance is in line with target.
• Formulate clear, data-driven recommendations based on your analyses.

3) Coordinate stakeholders and communicate insights

• Act as a bridge between CPM, Operations, Risk teams and the relevant Business Unit, explaining origination performance and risk trends.
• Contribute to the monthly risk cycle, Risk Committees, ongoing projects and the monthly risk report.
• Communicate clearly with country CEOs, local Risk teams, CPM, ERM and senior stakeholders.
