Logistics Coordinator

Want to see the impact of your work on real projects, every day?

At Smart Energy, we’re leaders in home electrification, helping Australians make the move to smarter energy through solar, batteries and more. We’ve grown into a national business, and with the backing of Rinnai Australia, there’s plenty more ahead of us.

Our New Builds Channel is growing, and we’re looking for a Logistics Coordinator who loves keeping things moving. If you’re organised, quick to solve problems and keen to build a career in logistics, this is a chance to take ownership of work that makes a visible difference.

The Opportunity 🚚

As Logistics Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting our New Builds operations by ensuring stock is transferred, tracked, and delivered accurately and on time. You’ll work closely with installers, warehouse teams, and procurement to make sure every job is ready when it needs to be.

This role suits someone organised, proactive, and confident communicating with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Coordinate and manage freight transfers and consignments from the warehouse to new build installers.
• Monitor order status, job progress, and stock availability to ensure timely packing and delivery.
• Communicate with installers to confirm stock arrivals and collect delivery documentation
• Conduct monthly stocktakes in collaboration with new build installers.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, delivery schedules, and inventory levels.
• Identify and resolve logistical issues to prevent delays in project timelines.
• Collaborate closely with procurement and warehouse teams to support smooth operations.
• Support Logistics Team across all channels/functions/operational theatres as required

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in logistics, supply chain coordination, or warehouse operations, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or related industries.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with inventory management systems and basic IT skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in logistics or supply chain management (desirable but not essential).

Why Join Smart Energy?

Because this is a chance to grow your career while helping a fast-moving national business deliver on its promises. Your work will help installers get what they need, keep projects on track and support the next stage of our New Builds growth.

And we know the people you work with matter just as much as the work itself. You’ll be part of an ambitious, supportive team that works hard, has a laugh and celebrates its wins.

You’ll also enjoy:

⚡ Ongoing training, support and room to grow
⚡ A fun, social office culture with Friday drinks and team pub lunches
