Water Treatment Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Water Treatment Engineer to lead the planning, design, and delivery of municipal drinking water treatment plants and other water treatment projects. In this role, you will serve as a technical expert in process and facility design as a key member of our broader water resources engineering team. In this role, you will:

• Serve as a technical expert and lead the planning, process selection, and detailed design for water treatment plant projects.
• Provide technical oversight and mentoring to project managers and engineers, ensuring sound engineering judgment, regulatory compliance, and consistency with firm standards.
• Support projects across the broader Water Resources team, integrating treatment facility expertise with conveyance, storage, pumping, and utility infrastructure projects.
• Prepare project documents and designs, conduct analyses, interpret data, and plan and coordinate specific aspects of water treatment engineering work.
• Perform QA/QC on project deliverables, ensuring the technical accuracy and constructability of water treatment plant designs and documentation.
• Oversee project teams, ensuring alignment with technical standards, project schedules, and organizational goals.
• Collaborate with senior management on strategic planning for water/wastewater services and assist with business development efforts including client engagement and proposal development.
