About the role
This role is the spearhead. You break into enterprise accounts V2 AI has never sold to and you get the first meeting. From there it is a team sport. You bring in the relevant Partner and you qualify and close it together. Once it is signed, the Partner manages the account from there and you go back to the top of the funnel and open the next one. What stays yours alone is the opening and the volume. Nobody prospects on your behalf.
V2 AI is in scaleup. There is no inherited pipeline. The volume comes from you: email, LinkedIn, events, referrals, phone and the follow-up. Expect a high volume of named accounts and decision-maker contacts touched a month.
We’re looking for someone with a proven track record, someone who has done real volume for years and still wants to.
You also need enough knowledge of the Enterprise landscape and the Applied AI market. You are someone wanting to take their AI expertise to the next level who is willing to become Claude certified.
V2 AI wins in financial services, insurance, energy and utilities, retail, mining and public sector, buying through C Level, GM and Head of Level. You work Australia and Singapore first, with Korea, Japan, NZ building behind them. Those markets buy differently and you are expected to learn the differences rather than translate an Australian script.
One of our immediate goals is getting the right senior personas from net new accounts into a room with V2 AI and Anthropic, either at a Claude Code or Claude Cowork workshop or at an Applied AI Symposium and our Executive Roundtables, then working with a Partner to turn that room into scoped opportunities you close together. You also sell the paid Claude 1:1 sessions into new accounts and make sure the seats go to people who can sponsor a production programme, not to curious engineers with no budget.
What you will own
Breaking into new accounts
- Named account lists built by industry and by partner motion (Anthropic, AWS, Databricks, Microsoft, Google Cloud), agreed with the Partners and Directors who cover those industries.
