Crisis Confidential Management Assistant Manager, Process Improvement

About Woven by ToyotaWoven by Toyota is enabling Toyota’s once-in-a-century transformation into a mobility company. Inspired by a legacy of innovating for the benefit of others, our mission is to challenge the current state of mobility through human-centric innovation — expanding what “mobility” means and how it serves society.
Our work centers on four pillars: AD/ADAS, our autonomous driving and advanced driver assist technologies; Arene, our software development platform for software-defined vehicles; Woven City, a test course for mobility; and Cloud & AI, the digital infrastructure powering our collaborative foundation. Business-critical functions empower these teams to execute, and together, we’re working toward one bold goal: a world with zero accidents and enhanced well-being for all.

TEAM

Toyota is redefining what it means to move. We're challenging the current state of mobility by enhancing the movement of people, goods, information and energy. Centered around three core concepts - A Living Laboratory™, Human-Centered, and Ever Evolving City™ - Woven City serves as a test course for mobility to fulfill our purpose of well-being for all.

We do this by bringing together a diverse community of people with a shared passion for the future of mobility to co-create, develop and refine innovative products and services. This cross-section of social infrastructure, mobility, and people provides a unique opportunity for inventors, residents and visitors to interact seamlessly with new technologies throughout daily life in an environment that emulates a real city.

Woven City serves as a test course for mobility to fulfill our purpose of well-being for all. Our team facilitates the safe and smooth implementation of a wide variety of Proof of Concepts (PoCs) conducted in this city by driving continuous process improvement (Kaizen) and robust risk governance. In this role, you will operate the Secretariat for both Woven City Crisis Management and Confidential Management, establishing and improving robust frameworks that protect the city's physical safety and informational assets under a fast-paced development environment, while driving the development of systems, processes, and tools that enable the entire organization to tackle crises effectively, even in the event of company-wide incidents.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

1)We are seeking an experienced professional to play a central role in the Crisis Management Secretariat, which protects the safety and security of Woven City as its highest priority. In response to a wide range of city-specific crises—such as natural disasters (typhoons and earthquakes), personal or property accidents, system failures, and data breaches—and guided by the philosophy that "the initial response is the most important," you will be expected to lead initial emergency responses, make rapid crisis-level judgments, escalate issues to relevant departments, and manage the setup and operation of the Emergency Response Team (ERT). Furthermore, you are expected to continuously refine our frameworks and processes during normal times to ensure robust preparedness. We also expect you to continuously refine your systems and processes even during normal times to maintain a robust defense posture.
