About Us
HireHawk connects skilled professionals around the world with meaningful remote opportunities at U.S. and Canadian companies. We focus on building high-performing remote teams where strong communication, ownership, and consistent follow-through matter. In this role, you will support a U.S. personal injury law firm while working remotely within a structured, outcomes-focused environment.
About the Role
As a Case Manager – Personal Injury (Pre-Litigation), you will take ownership of an assigned caseload from intake through settlement or transfer to litigation. You will be the central point of coordination between injured clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters, demand writers, and supervising attorneys.
Your work will directly influence how efficiently cases progress and how supported clients feel throughout what can be a stressful process. This is a strong fit for someone who already understands U.S. plaintiff-side personal injury work and can independently manage priorities while knowing when attorney involvement is needed.
The working schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time.
Responsibilities
- Own an assigned portfolio of personal injury cases from intake through demand, settlement, or transfer to litigation.
- Keep clients consistently informed about case status, medical treatment, upcoming steps, and outstanding requirements.
- Coordinate medical treatment, referrals, appointments, and follow-ups so clients remain on track with their care.
- Request, obtain, review, and organize medical records, billing statements, and other supporting case documentation.
- Communicate directly with insurance adjusters regarding claim status, liability, coverage, documentation, and settlement progress.
- Monitor treatment timelines, case milestones, deadlines, missing records, and outstanding documentation to prevent avoidable delays.
- Identify case issues, stalled treatment, liability concerns, or other risks early and escalate them to supervising attorneys when appropriate.
- Partner with demand writers to ensure files are complete, organized, and ready for demand preparation.
- Support settlement coordination by tracking outstanding balances, liens, documentation, and case closure requirements.
