Your Impact
Join a small team building the next generation of cybersecurity products from the ground up. Led by industry veterans with a proven track record of success - you will get to architect, build, and deliver hugely impactful products with this world class team. You will have the opportunity to grow your career and skills along with the company from the very start.
The Role
As our Manufacturing & NPI Engineer, you will own the technical quality, build execution, and product data infrastructure for our server appliance platform. You will serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for Arena PLM, maintaining our Bills of Materials (BOMs), Approved Vendor Lists (AVLs), and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) while ensuring our OEM partners (Dell OEM, Supermicro) build our hardware to exact quality and assembly standards.
Working directly under the VP of Supply Chain & Operations, you will bridge the gap between internal hardware design and factory-floor manufacturing execution.
Key Responsibilities
Arena PLM & Product Data Management
-
Serve as the administrator and lead user for Arena PLM, structuring parts, assemblies, drawing packages, and multi-level server BOMs.
-
Author, review, and process Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), and Deviations in Arena PLM.
-
Maintain the Approved Vendor List (AVL) and Approved Component List (ACL) in Arena PLM, ensuring complete alignment with vendor build files.
Factory Build Execution & Quality Validation
-
Audit assembly lines, chassis configurations, custom cabling/dressing standards, and thermal management setups (500W CPU / 300W GPU cooling) at OEM integration facilities.
-
Review and validate factory burn-in test scripts, memory stress tests, BIOS default configurations, and OpenBMC/Redfish image flashing procedures.
New Product Introduction (NPI)
-
Drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and Design for Test (DFT) reviews during prototype and pilot build phases.
-
Ensure OEM partners execute seamless hand-offs from prototype validation to mass production.
Failure Analysis & Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)
-
Lead technical triage and failure analysis for hardware anomalies identified during prototype builds, factory testing, or customer field deployments.
