It's more than a job
As part of the Contract Logistics team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in designing, managing, and optimizing solutions that keep goods moving efficiently. Whether you’re leading a team, engineering processes, or driving projects, your work ensures that our customers’ products are stored, handled, and delivered with precision. From everyday essentials to seasonal items, what we do in Contract Logistics impacts businesses and communities around the world. At Kuehne+Nagel, your contribution goes far beyond the warehouse—it helps shape the flow of global trade.
Take the lead on complex IS/IT implementations and system migrations that make a real business impact. You’ll bring together cross-functional project teams, manage priorities and timelines, anticipate and resolve risks, oversee project budgets, and ensure a seamless experience for both clients and internal stakeholders.
How you create impact
- Lead cross-functional IT project teams supporting customer implementations, system migrations, strategic initiatives, and organizational change.
- Serve as the IT project or sub-project lead for customer onboarding initiatives, coordinating activities across IT, Operations, Engineering, and external partners.
- Drive requirements gathering and solution design, partnering with customers, Solutions Engineering, and IT teams to define system requirements, configurations, integrations, and Concepts of Operations.
- Manage end-to-end implementation activities, including system development, testing, training, deployment, contingency planning, on-site implementation, and post-launch support.
- Own project governance, proactively managing scope, change, risks, timelines, communications, stakeholder expectations, and internal/external project budgets.
- Manage vendors and client relationships, ensuring external partners meet delivery, cost, and SOW commitments while serving as a key point of contact for customer change management.
