Account Executive

About Blys

Blys is an on-demand wellness marketplace connecting people with vetted massage, beauty, and wellness professionals — at home, at work, and at events. We operate across Australia, New Zealand, the US, the UK, Canada, and Europe, and we’re scaling fast. Our corporate and events business brings wellness experiences to workplaces, conferences, activations, and large-scale events, and the US is a priority growth market for us.

The role

We’re looking for an aggressive, target-driven Account Executive to own outbound sales and drive revenue for our events business in the US. This is a full-cycle, hunter role: you’ll build pipeline from the ground up, run outbound at volume, pitch to decision-makers, and close deals. If you’re energised by cold outreach, negotiation, and the thrill of signing new business, this is for you.

What you’ll do

• Own the full sales cycle end to end — prospecting, qualifying, pitching, negotiating, and closing
• Run aggressive outbound across email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels to generate your own pipeline
• Target and win corporate clients, event organisers, agencies, and workplaces for wellness activations and event bookings
• Consistently hit and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets
• Build and manage a healthy, forecastable pipeline in the CRM
• Develop deep knowledge of the US events and corporate wellness landscape
• Negotiate pricing and close commercial agreements
• Work closely with operations to ensure booked events are delivered flawlessly, driving repeat business
• Feed market insights back to the team to sharpen our US go-to-market strategy

Requirements

• 3+ years in B2B sales, business development, or account executive roles, ideally with a strong outbound/closing track record
• A proven, documented history of hitting or exceeding sales targets
• Genuine hunter mentality — you’re comfortable with high-volume outbound and you don’t shy away from the close
• Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills
• Confidence selling into the US market and engaging US decision-makers
• Self-motivated, resilient, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Experience in events, hospitality, wellness, or marketplace businesses is a plus
• Comfortable working [US business hours / a US-aligned night shift]

Benefits

• Competitive salary
• The chance to own and grow a priority market in a scaling global business
• A product and service people genuinely love
• A collaborative, high-energy team that celebrates wins.
• Hybrid work environment
