The Opportunity
The Director of Sales Effectiveness & Operations will build and lead the field-facing capabilities that turn Amylyx’s commercial direction into consistent day-to-day sales execution and prepare the organization for product launches. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Sales, this leader will own the detailed design, deployment, and continuous improvement of sales force effectiveness, field processes, customer relationship management workflows, performance insights, and enablement programs. The role will work within enterprise priorities, planning assumptions, and governance established with Business Operations and cross-functional partners, while remaining accountable for how those priorities are operationalized for sales leaders and field teams. This is an opportunity to shape a critical function, develop a high-performing team, and help advance therapies for people living with diseases of high unmet need.
Responsibilities.

- Assist in establishing practical sales operations, including territory business planning, pre-call planning, manager coaching, weekly and monthly performance reviews, field feedback intake, issue triage, and follow-through on agreed actions.
- Lead on monitoring field capacity and workload through capacity analysis, vacancy coverage, and field deployment scenarios to support the rapid uptake of products.
- Assist in communicating incentive compensation plans and helping review lead and lag indicators for sales growth at the regional and territory level. This position will also help identify regional and territory market trends for the sales team to act on.
