About the Team:
The Revenue Accounting team plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity of AlphaSense's financial operations while enabling the business to scale. We partner closely with Sales, Deal Desk, Billing, Revenue Operations, Legal, Product, FP&A, and external auditors to support new products, evolving pricing models, and scalable Order-to-Cash processes.

About the Role:
Reporting to the Manager, Revenue Accounting, this role will be responsible for supporting the revenue accounting function through technical accounting, contract review, month-end close, and cross-functional process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in ASC 606, enjoys solving complex business problems, and is excited to partner across the organization to build scalable processes supporting a rapidly growing SaaS business.
Who You Are:
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience with a mix of public accounting and industry experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of ASC 606 and SaaS revenue recognition.
- Experience reviewing customer contracts, order forms, amendments, and renewals to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment.
- Experience supporting subscription and usage-based (consumption) pricing models within a SaaS environment strongly preferred.
- Experience working with NetSuite and Salesforce (SFDC); experience with Salesforce CPQ, billing platforms, or revenue automation tools is a plus.
- Experience partnering on system implementations or process improvements involving financial systems is preferred.
