Enterprise Sales

Clara is the leading platform in Latin America for companies to execute and manage every payment operation. More than 50,000 leading and fast-growing businesses run on our corporate cards, bill pay, financing and B2B payments, and in 2025 the Financial Times named Clara the region’s fastest-growing company. We’re passionate about helping every company we work with become more effective—and, through that, raising the region’s competitiveness. We’re ~400 people, backed by Notable Capital, Coatue, Kaszek, monashees, DST Global, ICONIQ, General Catalyst and Goldman Sachs, among others.

What you'll do

We're looking for an Enterprise Sales Lead to lead high-impact commercial conversations with Enterprise companies in Brazil. You will be at the forefront of Clara's expansion, partnering with finance leaders to solve real, complex problems at scale through our modern financial platform.

You will:

• Drive New Business: Own the full sales cycle for Enterprise accounts, from the first strategic conversation to contract signature. You will build and maintain a high-quality pipeline, ensuring rigorous forecasting and hygiene within HubSpot.
• Strategic C-Level Partnership: Lead high-stakes conversations, primarily with CFOs, Treasurers, and senior finance leaders. You will translate complex financial structures into clear value propositions, positioning Clara as a strategic partner rather than just a vendor.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders across Risk, Product, Marketing and Operations via Slack and Notion to deliver tailored solutions that meet the specific needs of large-scale enterprises.
• Structured Execution: Manage long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with discipline. You will navigate the complexities of corporate buying processes in Brazil — including procurement layers, legal reviews, and compliance requirements — ensuring clarity and momentum at every stage.

Who you are

We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Must haves

• Experience: 10+ years of experience in Enterprise B2B sales, with a specific focus on navigating complex deals.
• Industry Background: Proven background in banking, fintech, or B2B tech companies, with a deep understanding of how financial decisions are made in large organizations in Brazil.
• Executive Presence: Proven experience selling to C-level executives (CFOs, Controllers). You are comfortable leading conversations around financial products, risk, and controls.
• Location: Based in São Paulo, available to go to the office at least 2x per week.
• Language: Working proficiency in Portuguese and English.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of synthesizing complex information into clear, actionable insights.
• Execution & Adaptability: Proven role-specific execution with the ability to operate with ambiguity. You possess strong business judgment, structured thinking, adaptability to fast-changing environments, and a high degree of ownership.
• AI Enthusiast: Concrete examples of utilizing AI to automated/streamline your workflows

Nice to haves

• Specialized Knowledge: Experience selling financial products such as credit, payments, treasury, or corporate cards in the Brazilian market.
• Tech Savvy: Familiarity with HubSpot or Amplemarket, and experience or interest in AI tools to automate workflows.
• Analytical Skills: Independent analytical skills using spreadsheets, Metabase, or SQL to build business cases.
• Regulatory Experience: Familiarity with Brazilian regulated environments, Banco Central do Brasil guidelines, and multi-entity corporate structures.
• Language Skills: Basic proficiency in Spanish or a desire to learn it.
• A good sense of humor.

Where we work

This is a hybrid role: you'll split your time between the office, customers and home. We don't set a minimum number of office days for most roles — you'll spend time in the office naturally, and most days during your ramp-up or when your leader asks.

Why Clara

• A high talent-density team driven to make an impact in Latin America — low ego, high ownership.
• Competitive salary and stock options (ESOP) from day one.
• An annual learning budget and accelerated development paths.
• English is our working language, with Spanish and Portuguese every day.

How we work

• Clarity — Open and direct communication: we say what we mean and give context where it matters.
• Simplicity — If it can be simpler, it should be.
• Ownership — We own everything we do, end to end. When something needs to happen, we don't wait.
• Pride — We hold ourselves to a high standard, and it shows in what we deliver.
• ABC (Always Be Changing) — We adapt fast, embrace change, and keep learning.
• Inclusivity — Diverse ideas, stories and perspectives build a better Clara.

If you meet the must-haves, apply — the nice-to-haves are a bonus, not a requirement.
