Plus, you’ll be paired with a dedicated Buddy to provide mentorship and support throughout your experience.

This internship pays $22 per hour for 40 hours per week and runs from June 7, 2027 - Aug 13, 2027. Before applying, please ensure you will be available on these dates.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the US.

• Experience with design (Adobe Suite or similar) and video editing a plus

• Good writing and editing skills

• Good communication skills, organised, curious, and able to balance multiple projects at once

• You are interested in making FT journalism accessible to a broader audience across various platforms

Please submit your application by October 26th by 5pm Eastern Time and be sure to include the following documents in your application

• Resume
• A cover letter explaining why you would be a good fit, and explaining your interest in joining our team

Any application submitted after the deadline will not be considered.

The use of AI

Original reporting, great writing and intelligent commentary lie at the heart of FT journalism. Our readers trust us to produce quality journalism that is accurate, fair and insightful. For this reason, FT editorial staff do not use AI tools to write articles or create reader-facing content.

AI may be used in specific, pre-approved cases to assist with research, such as in data investigations. We expect internship applicants to refrain from using AI in writing tests or written materials submitted during the application process. All submissions must reflect your own knowledge, skills, and experiences.

Candidates may use AI to assist with research and interview preparation. However, the use of AI throughout the application process is monitored to ensure fairness and transparency for all applicants.
