Account Executive

Mentimeter is an engagement company with a simple goal: to make every leader better. Through interaction, insights and recommendations, its platform helps organizations turn participation into better understanding and stronger performance.

Founded in Stockholm in 2012, Mentimeter is used by 20 million people each month across 1.3 million organizations. At Mentimeter, we believe better leadership starts with listening and that the strongest results are achieved together. That’s why we foster a culture built on curiosity, collaboration and shared ownership. By joining us, you’ll help leaders turn participation into deeper understanding and stronger performance, advancing our ambition to help more than one billion people listen, learn and work better together.

Your job is to uncover needs, build strong relationships, and convert organic product adoption into long-term business impact.

What You’ll Do

• Own and Grow Your Pipeline

• Prospect into accounts with existing Mentimeter usage and self-generate pipeline alongside SDRs.

• Balance inbound leads from companies already using Mentimeter with strategic outbound efforts.

• Drive Sales & Build Relationships

• Lead discovery and sales conversations that uncover needs and align on business impact.

• Manage 25–30 active opportunities at a time, ensuring 3x quota coverage at all times.

• Engage with multiple stakeholders (HR, L&D, C-level executives, IT, Legal, Procurement) to build strong buying committees.

• Facilitate smooth handovers to the Customer Success team.

• Sell on Value, Not Just Usage

• Position Mentimeter around solving real business challenges in our three value spaces:

• How to Teach – improving training and knowledge-sharing.

• How to Lead – driving better communication and alignment.

• How to Facilitate – making meetings more productive and engaging.

• Create reliable forecasts and maintain full transparency on pipeline status.

• Collaborate Cross-Functionally

• Share market insights with Product, Marketing, and Sales teams.

• Work with Sales Ops, Legal, and Enablement to support deal execution.

• Actively contribute to team culture, lifting and inspiring colleagues.

What You’ll Get

• Menti 1:5 operating model → dedicated manager coaching and support.

• Senior leadership from top SaaS companies.

• A team culture focused on collaboration, not competition.

• World-Class Tools & Support

• Salesforce, Salesloft, Intercom, ZoomInfo, Data Analytics.

• Support from Marketing, SDRs, Sales Ops, and Customer Success.

• Exciting Growth & Career Paths

• Clear paths toward Senior AE, Strategic Sales, or Leadership.

• Access to a leadership program, external coaching, and continuous learning.

• Inclusive Compensation Philosophy

• Non-commission-based salary model that rewards team success.

• Competitive compensation and benefits package, including pension contributions. Read about our benefits & perks here.

• Familiarity with structured sales methodologies (e.g. MEDDPICC) preferred.

• Data-Driven & Results-Oriented

• Strong negotiation, forecasting, and business acumen.

• Experience with large-scale SaaS contracts, procurement cycles, and enterprise sales.

• Collaborative & Growth-Minded

AI and Hiring at Mentimeter
At Mentimeter, we believe AI helps us work smarter - but it never replaces the human assessment, curiosity, and personal connection that define our culture and our hiring. We use AI as a sparring partner: to bounce ideas, bring new perspectives, support structure, and make our work more efficient. But the meaning, decisions, and interactions always come from people. AI strengthens our work, but it does not define it. At Mentimeter, we’re not building an AI-driven hiring process - we’re building a people-first culture, where technology helps us listen, learn, and grow together.

**Culture at Mentimeter
**At Mentimeter we believe in giving everyone a voice - regardless of who you are. So we build a platform that does just that. Our platform is not only our product but also our organization. A platform where people feel safe, where differences are embraced, a place where you can have fun. We strongly encourage applicants who are people of color, LGBTQ+, women, people with disabilities, and/or formerly incarcerated people, and a college degree is not strictly required. In order to give everyone a voice, we need to be as diverse as our users.
