Enterprise Account Executive, Direct Sales (Melbourne)

From opening brand new accounts to growing the ones we already have, our Direct Sales team turns opportunity into action every day. Whether focused on a geography, product line, industry or market segment, their goal is the same: to build real relationships with the organisations we serve and generate meaningful growth. They are the direct line between our portfolio of integration, data and AI solutions and the customers who rely on them. Join us as an Enterprise Account Executive covering Victoria, Western Australia, South Australia and Tasmania, and do the best work of your career.

What you'll achieve

As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will own a geographic territory of large enterprise organisations across VIC, WA, SA and Tasmania. This is a hunting role. The marjority of your focus is winning new logos, but you will also be responsible for expansion sales in a portfolio of existing strategic accounts. This role will be focused on the Enterprise segment, with a particular interest in regulated industries including banking and financial services, utilities and energy.

You will:

• Build and own your pipeline, self-sourcing new logo opportunities through outbound prospecting, partners, events and your own network rather than relying on inbound demand
• Run disciplined, structured sales cycles using MEDDPICC, putting thorough discovery at the front of every deal so that pain, value and the decision process are clear early
• Sell on value at C-level, building business cases with CIOs, CFOs, CDOs and line-of-business leaders that tie integration, data and AI outcomes to measurable results
• Lead the virtual team around each opportunity, bringing in presales, value consulting (including a dedicated AI specialist), SDRs, professional services and partners at the right moments
• Grow and protect a small set of existing enterprise accounts through clear account plans and expansion strategies
• Build the market as well as work it, partnering with marketing and channel teams to raise awareness across the territory, educate partners and create demand where we are not yet known
• Forecast accurately and keep your pipeline and CRM disciplined, so leadership can rely on your numbers

Take the first step towards your dream career

Every Boomi team member brings something unique to the table. Here's what we are looking for with this role:

**Essential Requirements:
**

• 8+ years of quota-carrying enterprise software sales, with a consistent track record of winning new logos and closing complex, high-value deals
• Proven success selling into large enterprise organisations in Australia, ideally within banking and financial services, utilities or energy
• Strong command of a formal sales methodology such as MEDDPICC, combined with a value-based selling approach
• Genuine experience selling to and influencing C-level executives, with the presence to bring insight and a point of view to senior conversations
• A methodical approach to discovery and qualification, and the discipline to prioritise the deals that are real
• A collaborative style, with experience leading cross-functional deal teams in a matrix environment
• Based in Melbourne, with the ability to travel across WA, SA and Tasmania

Desirable Requirements

• Experience selling integration, iPaaS, API management, data management or middleware solutions
• Experience launching a software solution in Australia or APAC for the first time, including building pipeline, partner awareness and market presence from a standing start
• Experience at a growth-stage or challenger vendor, where you built your own pipeline without leaning on an established brand or inbound engine
• Experience co-selling with system integrators and partners to extend reach
• Existing relationships across enterprise accounts in Victoria and the wider territory
