Strategy & Business Operations Associate

Senior Associate, Strategy & Business Operations

Location: Charlotte, NC

Home Solutions is seeking a Senior Associate, Strategy & Business Operations to drive high-impact initiatives across the business. This is a true generalist role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys solving complex problems, and wants to operate at the center of a fast-growing company. You’ll work directly with senior leadership to tackle high-stakes questions and turn analysis into execution.

This role sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, and applied AI. We’re looking for someone who has built and deployed tools, automations, or AI-driven solutions that drive real business outcomes. You’ll move between deep analytical work and hands-on building — using data, systems, and automation to scale your impact.

You will identify opportunities, analyze trade-offs, and execute initiatives that grow revenue, improve margins, and increase operational efficiency. This includes getting under the hood of the business to understand key drivers and building the systems, tools, or workflows needed to improve them. Projects may span growth strategy, pricing, unit economics, vendor performance, customer experience, and new market expansion.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in consulting, investment banking, private equity, strategy, or high-growth environments who wants to move from advising to building — owning initiatives from insight through implementation.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate, test, and launch new growth channels that drive audience expansion and incremental revenue.
• Identify where we can unlock revenue, improve margins, or eliminate inefficiencies — then build solutions (including automation or AI where appropriate) to execute.
• Build business cases for new investments, product expansions, and market opportunities.
• Evaluate marketplace performance across both consumer and service provider dynamics.
• Build the models, dashboards, and tools we need to make smarter decisions.
• Hypothesize, test, and launch UX improvements across our web properties.
• Monitor core P&L KPIs and proactively surface risks, inefficiencies, and growth opportunities.
• AI super-user — you experiment with LLMs and automation tools instinctively to move faster and smarter.

This role combines analytical rigor with real ownership. You will not simply present recommendations — you will help implement them.

About You

• Bachelor’s degree with a strong record of academic and professional achievement.
• 2–4 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, private equity, strategy, business operations, or a high-growth operating role.
