Enginy AI is a Barcelona-based startup on a mission to revolutionize how B2B sales and prospecting teams operate. Our cutting-edge AI-driven lead generation technology empowers sales teams to focus on what truly matters: selling. By automating manual prospecting, we help optimize workflows, ensuring a predictable and scalable sales pipeline—no wasted time, just results.

After successfully raising €5 million in a landmark seed funding round, we are looking to grow our teams and scale in key markets..

We’re looking for a Team Lead, Account Management to join our CS department.

About the role

We're hiring a Team Lead to run our Account Management team. You'll manage a team of 3-6 AMs — coaching, pipeline reviews, ramping new hires — and you'll also own your own portfolio of 15-20 key accounts. You're not stepping back from the work to manage it, you're doing both at once.

That's deliberate. Your own book is where you prove out the playbook before you ask the team to run it. As the team grows, the plan is for this role to shift toward full-time management with a lighter (eventually no) portfolio — but for now, and for a while, you're a player-coach.

You'll report to the Head of Customer Success. Customer Success owns revenue at Enginy, not just satisfaction — renewals, expansion, and a net revenue retention above 100%. This role is central to hitting that number.

What You'll Own

Team Leadership & Coaching

• Manage and coach a team of 3-6 Account Managers — 1:1s, pipeline reviews, QBR prep, deal strategy
• Onboard and ramp new AMs as the team grows
• Spot patterns across the team's book — churn signals, recurring objections, skill gaps — and turn them into coaching or process changes, not one-off fixes
• Set the bar by example: your own portfolio results are the proof point of what you're coaching the team toward

Key Account Portfolio (15-20 accounts)

• Own renewals and expansion for your own book of key accounts — the most strategic or complex relationships in the team's portfolio
• Run QBRs, negotiate renewals, and lead upsell and cross-sell conversations directly
• Use your own accounts as the testing ground for new playbooks and processes before rolling them out to the team

Playbook & Process Building

• Build and refine the AM playbook — onboarding paths, health scoring, renewal cadences, escalation paths
• Standardize what "good" looks like across the team, then hold the team to it
• Feed patterns and blockers back to the Head of Customer Success with data, not anecdotes

Operational Excellence

• Own the team's forecast accuracy and pipeline hygiene in HubSpot
• Report on team and portfolio performance — retention, expansion, health — on a regular cadence
• Partner with Onboarding, Support, Product, and Sales to close gaps affecting the team's accounts

About you

Must-haves

• 3-5 years in Account Management or Customer Success in B2B SaaS, with a track record of owning renewals and upsells
• 1+ year leading, mentoring, or informally managing other AMs or CSMs — this can be team lead by function, not only by title
• Comfortable being evaluated on both team results and your own portfolio numbers — this role does not trade one for the other
• Proactive, ownership-driven mindset: you spot problems before they show up in a QBR
• Proficiency in Spanish and English

Nice-to-haves

• Experience building or improving AM playbooks, onboarding sequences, or health frameworks from scratch
• You've grown a team from a handful of AMs into something bigger, and you know what changes at each stage
• Comfortable with CRM hygiene and forecasting in HubSpot
• You've used AI tools to work faster, and you're curious about doing more of it
