Who We Are

We author original hospitality experiences and continually edit them to create experiences worth remembering and sharing. Embedded in everything we do is the pursuit of creating something better. And that’s our standard now. At Author & Edit, we believe hospitality isn’t something you follow – it's something you write. Founded by Sam Fox, one of the most visionary minds in the industry, we exist to reimagine what hospitality can be, not replicate what’s already been done. We’re not here to maintain the status quo. We’re here to shape what’s next.

What you’ll do:

A rock star with an eye for detail, you are someone who really sets the pace with your service. If you have prior experience in a restaurant that’s great, but a stellar personality and the ability to work as a team member are even more important.  English communication skills are a must. You are comfortable standing for long periods of time and can lift to 40 pounds. You have availability to work weekends and some holidays.

• Assisting with opening and closing duties, such as restocking the bar with garnishes, straws, and napkins, ensuring that Bartenders have clean towels, glassware, etc.
• Ensuring bar is well-stocked with ice, liquor, wine, and beer.
• Checking taps and appliances to confirm that they are working properly, making minor repairs, or changing out kegs, if needed.
• Keeping the bar clean by wiping down surfaces, sweeping and mopping, removing soiled glassware, scrubbing coolers and storage areas, and emptying trash receptacles.
• Maintain records and report levels of usage to assist in the reordering process and ensuring that delivered items are stored properly.
