We are looking for a passionate S****oftware Developer to join our infrastructure team. This software-focused role involves building the services, platforms and automation that support our engineering teams and production systems. You will develop reliable backend software, improve developer workflows and help operate scalable infrastructure in a predominantly Kubernetes-based environment. 

How you will make an impact 

• Designing and building reliable backend services and infrastructure tooling using Python 

• Developing and operating applications and services on Kubernetes 

• Building automation that improves the deployment, operation and management of production systems 

• Designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows 

• Working with relational databases and message-driven systems, including PostgreSQL and RabbitMQ 

• Improving the scalability, reliability, performance and operability of distributed systems 

• Collaborating with software developers and infrastructure specialists to solve challenging technical problems 

• Contributing to technical design discussions, code reviews, testing and software architecture best practices 

• Driving projects and leading new initiatives 

• Migrating legacy workloads to Kubernetes 

• Maintaining some legacy non-Kubernetes production infrastructure
