The Role

Part of the broader Addepar Data organisation, you will be the primary authority on the operational administration and integrity of market data. This is a transformative leadership mandate: we are looking for an architect to take full ownership of the role, build the team, and evolve our market data operations into a best-in-class function that supports $9T+ in platform assets.

Applicants must have, and maintain, the right to work in the United Kingdom from the first day of employment. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

What You’ll Do

• Build & Transform: You are responsible for designing the roadmap for Market Data operations. You will lead, train, and mentor a high-performing team, turning the function into a centre of excellence that balances technical integrity with commercial agility.
• Mentorship: Actively upskill the team in complex licensing frameworks and data observability, ensuring every team member is an expert in the "Addepar way" of data management.
• Ownership: Take end-to-end accountability for the "who, what, and how" of data access, ensuring we stay ahead of audit requirements and vendor evolutions.
• Access Architecture: Manage and audit user access to market data (internal and external benchmark and market data) ensuring strict adherence to complex redistribution scenarios and vendor-specific restrictions.
• Audit Command: Lead the preparation and delivery of usage audits back to licensors, ensuring 100% compliance with all contractual clauses.
• Pipeline Supervision: Oversee daily market data pipeline workflows to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of pricing and reference data feeds.
• Data Quality Ownership: Perform internal verification checks to ensure data integrity (FX rates, corporate actions) and resolve exceptions to maintain high-quality standards.
• Maintain a Rights Management framework to monitor data implementation and usage, ensuring all derived content follows vendor terms of use.
