Social Content Creator

DEPT® is a Growth Invention company built to help the world’s most ambitious brands grow faster. Operating at the intersection of technology and marketing, our 4,000+ specialists deliver growth invention services across Brand & Media, Experience, Commerce, CRM, and Technology & Data. We’re 50|50 tech and marketing, partner-led, and first to move. Clients include Google, Lufthansa, Meta, eBay, and OpenAI. We have been certified B Corp and Climate Neutral since 2021.

JOB PURPOSE

This position sits in our Marketing & Technology service based in London. We combine data, technology, creative content, and paid media to crack brands’ business problems & drive revenue through a variety of digital marketing solutions like ad campaigns, augmented reality, and chatbots. Our clients include ASOS, Just Eat Takeaway, Twitch, TikTok, and The White Company.

We’re looking for energetic Jr. Social Content Creator who is passionate about creating fast, fun, and trend-led social content. You’ll be hands-on, filming and editing short-form videos for social presence. This role is all about being a doer and a maker - coming up with ideas in the morning, shooting by midday, and posting by the afternoon.

You don’t need to be a polished advertising graduate; we want fresh, creative minds who live and breathe TikTok culture, are confident on camera, and can work quickly and reactively to produce engaging content.

Your role will involve concepting, shooting, editing (using tools like CapCut or in-app editors), and working collaboratively with the client team to keep the content fresh, reactive, and aligned with brand guidelines. You’ll have access to a vast library of assets to inspire and support your work, and you’ll embrace a test-and-learn mindset where trying new ideas and learning from what doesn’t work is part of the process.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Generate quick, trend-led organic social content ideas that resonate with the clients audience and culture
• Shoot and edit short-form videos independently, using tools like CapCut or in-app editors
• React rapidly to social trends, creating and posting content within tight timeframes
• Collaborate closely with the team and clients, presenting ideas clearly and confidently
• Travel to locations for content shoots and brand activations
• Manage and utilise a large brand asset library to inspire and support content creation
• Maintain brand guidelines while experimenting with creative formats
• Embrace a “doer and maker” mindset by prioritising action, ideation, and learning from content performance
• Support the production of high volumes of engaging, snackable social content on a daily basis

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Passion for TikTok, Reels and short-form video content creation, with hands-on experience editing using apps like CapCut or similar
• Ability to generate quick, trend-led, and reactive social content ideas that resonate with Gen Z and wider audiences
• Comfortable filming and presenting on camera with confidence and authenticity
• Experience managing or creating content for personal or brand TikTok/Instagram accounts as a portfolio alternative
• Strong creative instincts combined with a maker mindset, ready to produce and post content rapidly
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively
• Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple shoots and content trips, including travel to locations like airports and European destinations
• High attention to brand guidelines and creative tenets, balancing creativity with strategic brand alignment
• Eagerness to learn, experiment, and iterate quickly, embracing a test-and-learn approach to content creation

We are drawn to people who stay curious, move with intent, and never stop inventing. Our culture runs on three values: better together, relentlessly curious, and get sh*t done. It is how we work, how we grow, and how we make things that matter.

At DEPT®, you will find the freedom to explore, the space to collaborate, and the trust to make a real impact for our clients, for each other, and for the world we are helping to build.

At DEPT®, we take pride in creating an inclusive workplace where everyone has an equal opportunity to thrive. We actively seek to recruit, develop, nurture, and retain talented individuals from diverse backgrounds, with varying skills and perspectives.

Not sure you meet all qualifications? Apply, and let us decide! Research shows that women and members of underrepresented groups tend not to apply for jobs when they think they may not meet every requirement, when in fact they do. We believe in giving everyone a fair chance to shine.
