Commercial Account Executive

GrowthLoop is seeking a driven, consultative Commercial Account Executive to bring our agentic marketing platform to new enterprise customers and grow our commercial business.

You'll own the complete sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery through evaluation, negotiation, and close. You'll partner with marketing, data, analytics, and executive stakeholders to understand what they're trying to move, connect those goals to what GrowthLoop can do with their own cloud data, and build business cases that hold up to both a technical and a financial buyer.

This is a highly visible role for a seller who likes building pipeline from scratch, navigating multi-stakeholder deals, and translating a genuinely technical product, AI, causal measurement, and the customer's own warehouse, into clear marketing outcomes. You'll join a collaborative team with a category-defining product, real customer results, and a growing ecosystem of cloud and technology partners.

What You’ll Do

• Own and consistently achieve an annual new-business sales quota within an assigned commercial territory.
• Generate qualified pipeline through thoughtful outbound prospecting, account planning, events, partner collaboration, and marketing programs. Develop tailored account plans for targeted prospects, using data and insights to drive engagement.
• Run deals from qualification and discovery through business-case development, evaluations, negotiation, and close.
• Engage marketing, data, analytics, IT, procurement, and executive stakeholders with messaging tailored to their priorities.
• Lead value-based conversations focused on revenue growth, marketing efficiency, customer engagement, and measurable return on investment. Understand each prospect’s business challenges and position GrowthLoop’s solutions to meet them.
• Partner closely with Sales Engineering throughout the cycle, from discovery and technical scoping to demos and proofs of value, to move deals forward together.
•  Work proactively with our Customer Solutions team to ensure a smooth transition from signature through implementation.
• Build relationships across the data and marketing technology ecosystem, including cloud data platforms, agencies, and implementation partners.
• Maintain accurate opportunity, pipeline, and forecast information in the company’s CRM.
• Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and advancements in marketing technology, and use AI tools to sharpen research, prospecting, and follow-up.
• Share market feedback with Product and Marketing to strengthen GrowthLoop’s positioning, roadmap, and go-to-market strategy.

What You Bring

• Business development experience in commercial B2B software sales. You’ve either closed deals directly, or worked side by side with an AE through the full cycle, from discovery to close.
• Experience selling or prospecting into marketing, data, or MarTech buyers, ideally with time at a CDP, marketing automation, or analytics company and a grasp of experimentation and marketing measurement.
• Excellent prospecting skills and a proven drive to build and truly own your pipeline.
• A consultative approach built on curiosity, active listening, and understanding what a business needs, including how prospects plan and budget.
• Strong presentation, writing, and organizational skills, with the ability to tailor your message for technical and non-technical audiences alike.
• Experience working effectively with Solutions Consulting, Marketing, Partnerships, Customer Success, and Product teams, while still owning your individual number.
• Comfort operating in a fast-moving, self-directed environment where initiative, adaptability, and sound judgment matter.
• Practical fluency with modern AI tools and enthusiasm for building AI-assisted workflows into daily work.

How Success Will Be Measured

During your first year, success will include:

• Building sufficient self-generated and partner-influenced pipeline to support quota attainment.
• Establishing a repeatable territory and account strategy.
• Consistently progressing qualified opportunities through the sales process.
• Developing trusted relationships with business, technical, and executive buyers.
• Delivering accurate forecasts and maintaining strong pipeline discipline.
• Winning new customers that are well positioned to realize measurable value from GrowthLoop.

The expected on-target earnings range for this position is $170,000 to $250,000 USD, on a 50/50 base-to-variable split, with a base salary range of $85,000 to $125,000. Final base compensation will be based on factors such as closing experience in our space, location, demonstrated skills, and qualifications.

About GrowthLoop

GrowthLoop built the first composable CDP, helping marketers leverage live, first-party data from their cloud warehouse to launch highly targeted campaigns. That composable foundation gave way to the Compound Marketing Engine, an evolution of the composable CDP that drives compound growth by using agentic AI to accelerate the marketing cycle.

Now, we’re building what comes next: an agentic system that uses causality data to find the actions that actually improve customer outcomes and gets smarter with every campaign cycle.

Founder-led, we’re partnering with the world’s most innovative brands to close the loop between people, data, and AI. Enterprise marketing teams at Google, Costco, Ford, and Whirlpool (to name a few) choose GrowthLoop to launch smarter, more personalized marketing programs that compound growth with every campaign.

About You

• Moving at our pace brings change, complexity, ambiguity, and a little chaos. You're comfortable being uncomfortable, and you'd rather own a hard problem than wait for a clean one.
• You have high agency: you find the gap and close it, and you turn decisions into outcomes, not more meetings.
• You measure your work by whether the customer actually wins, and you'd rather prove impact than claim it. You make the people around you sharper, and the team winning matters more to you than being right.
• You give direct, honest feedback (kindly), and you're curious about damn near everything, because time not spent learning feels wasted.
• We're a company of builders. You reach for the newest tools with good judgment and taste, using them to do better work at a scale that used to take a team.

What We Offer

• A flexible, remote-first work environment with hubs in New York and Toronto.
• Flexible paid time off and company-wide monthly Recharge Days.
• Comprehensive healthcare coverage.
• Retirement-plan matching for eligible employees.
• An annual home-office stipend.
• Professional-development support.
• Quarterly hack days and material opportunities to contribute beyond your immediate role.
• Direct collaboration with leadership and meaningful ownership in GrowthLoop’s next stage of growth.
