Job Summary
The Principal DevOps Engineer is a senior-level individual contributor who architects and implements scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure solutions across multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). This role leads technical execution of DevOps best practices, including automation, CI/CD pipeline development, observability, and infrastructure as code. The Principal Engineer partners closely with engineering teams, architecture, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver high-impact solutions. They also mentor peers and promote a DevOps culture focused on reliability, performance, and developer efficiency
Essential Functions
- Deploy microservices using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) within CI/CD pipelines by scripting, testing, and creating backups to support independent development, scalable deployment, and reliable system configuration.
- Train, mentor, and assist other team members in DevOps and Platform Engineering best practices, while actively contributing to the refinement of tickets, definition of technical requirements, and identification of effective solutions.
