We're modernizing the $100B+ travel industry with AI woven through every part of the advisor's workflow, plus global supplier relationships, personalized training, and a vibrant community, all in one place. That's what lets advisors build businesses that scale, while their taste and service create trips no algorithm alone could plan. We're mission-driven and obsessed with our customers, and we believe humans and AI are both essential: the best work here comes from people and technology at their best, together. That's not just a philosophy about our product, it's how we build our team. Everyone at Fora gets hands-on with frontier AI tooling as part of the job. At Fora, you'll learn to be AI-fluent, with real experience applying AI to solve problems day to day, wherever you sit in the company.

Founded in 2021, Fora has grown to a team of 250+ full-time employees based in downtown New York City. In 2026, we closed a $60 million Series D led by Forerunner and Tactile Ventures, with continued backing from Thrive Capital, Insight Partners, and Heartcore Capital. We've been named a LinkedIn Top Startup (2024), one of Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies (2023 and 2025), and one of TIME's 100 Most Influential Companies (2026).

About The Role

We're seeking a Director of Agency Management to build and operate Fora's agency business—a new model to support established agencies as well as home-grown focused, specialist agencies operating at Fora. This is a rare opportunity to stand up an entirely new line of business from the ground up.

The first focus is getting agencies onto Fora and making them succeed: owning the onboarding, implementation, and platform adoption for net-new agencies entering Fora for the first time and for Fora teams graduating into full agencies—and building the repeatable strategy and operations behind it. Over time, the role grows into agency portfolio leadership: becoming the leader that agency General Managers report into, accountable for the portfolio's growth and P&L. It's a senior, entrepreneurial, P&L-minded role for an operator who has built and led in the agency world and wants to build something new. This is a full-time role, NY or LA considered, reporting to the Head of Advisor Experience.

Key Responsibilities

Agency Onboarding & Account Management (first focus):

• Own the onboarding and implementation experience for net-new agencies entering Fora for the first time, and for Fora Advisor teams graduating into full agencies.
• Build the SOPs and onboarding playbook that get agencies productive fast—including product and Fora-tool adoption, with Sales and the Solutions Architect / ProdOps teams.
• Serve as the ongoing account and accountability owner for agencies once they're on the platform.

Strategy & Operations (first focus):

• Define the agency model's positioning and go-to-market in partnership with Sales—and build the repeatable playbook that lets Fora launch and absorb new agencies.
• Identify and close gaps in training, onboarding, platform tools, supplier partnerships, and community for agencies and their advisors.
• Act as a credible, external-facing leader to senior agency principals considering a move to Fora.

Agency Portfolio Leadership & P&L (future state):

• Grow into leading Fora's own branded agencies—the General Managers who develop and run them report into this role over time. That includes standing up new agencies by hiring and overseeing the GM who builds it.
• Own the agency portfolio P&L: drive revenue through advisor productivity, client bookings, and supplier relationships across the agencies you oversee.
• Recruit, coach, and develop GMs; set the standard for how a high-performing agency is run on Fora.
• Track and report on agency performance—advisor activity, booking volume, and business growth.

Requirements

• Demonstrated P&L ownership
• Deep experience in the travel-agency or host-agency world—credible with senior agency owners and principals
• Strong management and leadership skills, including the ability to recruit, inspire, and develop General Managers and non-traditional talent
• Entrepreneurial mindset—comfort with ambiguity, building from scratch, and operating with minimal infrastructure
• AI-forward and growth-minded—excited to leverage new tools and technology as a core part of how you work and lead
• Ability to work in the U.S.

Strongly Preferred

• MBA or other advanced degree
• Familiarity with the host agency model and how agencies-within-agencies operate
• Experience in a high-growth startup or technology-enabled business
• An existing network across the travel-agency and supplier community
