About Fora

Fora is the modern travel agency, empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs to build thriving travel advisory businesses. We're modernizing the $100B+ travel industry with AI woven through every part of the advisor's workflow, plus global supplier relationships, personalized training, and a vibrant community, all in one place. That's what lets advisors build businesses that scale, while their taste and service create trips no algorithm alone could plan. At the heart of it all is our mission: to help the next generation of travel entrepreneurs turn their love for travel into a fulfilling career, whether full-time or part-time.

We're mission-driven and obsessed with our customers, and we believe humans and AI are both essential: the best work here comes from people and technology at their best, together. That's not just a philosophy about our product, it's how we build our team. Everyone at Fora gets hands-on with frontier AI tooling as part of the job. At Fora, you'll learn to be AI-fluent, with real experience applying AI to solve problems day to day, wherever you sit in the company.

Founded in 2021, Fora has grown to a team of 250+ full-time employees based in downtown New York City. In 2026, we closed a $60 million Series D led by Forerunner and Tactile Ventures, with continued backing from Thrive Capital, Insight Partners, and Heartcore Capital. We've been named a LinkedIn Top Startup (2024), one of Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies (2023 and 2025), and one of TIME's 100 Most Influential Companies (2026).

Come build something that hasn't existed before.

About The Role

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our growing design team. This person will report to our Director of Product Design and embed within a product-focused team (Product Manager, Engineering Manager, Engineers). As an early Design hire at a time of rapid company growth, you will play a key role in shaping what our product and design processes will look like for years to come.

Our Travel Advisors are our primary users of the Fora Portal, where we build integrated tooling to support their work and success. From onboarding and training, to helping them manage their business (CRM, marketing, workflow), to an integrated booking platform, to reporting and commission tracking, our team is obsessed with making their workflow seamless and easy to use.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead with insights, designs, flows, prototypes, etc. – both strategically and tactically. Be comfortable with the entire Product Design process from research and design system input, to design and prototyping, to handoff and QA.
• Contribute to our Design System to create consistently high quality experiences for our customers and decrease the time it takes to deliver it.
• Develop product designs that strike a balance between creativity, quality, speed, and business opportunity.
• Design new product features, from conception to user experience to pixel perfect implementation.
• Establish and drive a posture and practice of understanding customer problems deeply – not just reacting to customer requests but understanding them well enough to create solutions customers could not have thought of themselves.
• Design and execute mixed-method research studies, synthesizing behavioral data using established UX research methodologies (affinity diagramming, statistical analysis of task completion rates) to produce insights that inform product strategy.
• Demonstrate compelling and confident storytelling that surfaces assumptions and difficult decisions but also aligns stakeholders around solutions.
• Work collaboratively with peers in Product Management, Product Ops, Engineering and across Fora.

About you:

• Have 5+ years of product design experience, preferably in a startup or embedded environment.
• Have a bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Feel comfortable designing for both SaaS and Consumer-facing products, and have significant experience in at least one.
• Are excited about the prospect of creating many designs quickly, and are excited about both designing from 0-1 and iterating on existing products.
• Approach design with an eye on practicality and business impact.
• Are comfortable working with partial data or input from Product Managers (you can think with a product mindset and help push the team forward when needed.)
• Communicate well, both your design ideas, as well as an ability to speak fluently with our advisors to secure product feedback.
• Have a strong ability to create easy-to-use interfaces to accomplish complex tasks.
• Have a fondness for identifying and addressing uncertain issues and converting them into well-defined objectives.
• You have an eye for visually appealing and meticulously crafted design, paying close attention to details.
• Are extremely comfortable with Figma.
• Hands-on HTML/CSS background is a plus.
