· Support, maintain, and integrate WATS with the MES and other production-related systems.
· Develop JavaScript and Python logic for triggers, widgets, and custom functionalities when visual configuration tools are not sufficient.
· Collaborate closely with production supervisors and shop floor operators to understand operational requirements and deliver user-friendly applications.
· Maintain application documentation, naming standards, and environment separation practices (development, testing, and production).
· Provide first-level support to manufacturing users, troubleshooting issues, answering questions, and implementing minor enhancements.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
Experience:
A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a technical role related to manufacturing systems, industrial environments, production support, or internal application development.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with Tulip, SAP ME, Siemens Opcenter, or other Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
· Experience with WATS or other test and repair data management systems.
· Interest in growing toward a systems integration and manufacturing digitalization role.
· Experience working in manufacturing or industrial production environments.
