Safety Coordinator

In a nutshell

As a Fulfillment Safety Coordinator, you are part of Picnic's Fulfillment team. In this role, you are operationally responsible for safety within our Fulfillment Centers (FCs). Together with the international Safety Team and colleagues on the shop floor, you ensure a physically and mentally safe working environment.

• Developing and implementing safety measures: You plan, introduce, and manage safety measures to ensure employees can do their work safely every day and return home safely.

• Visiting and evaluating FCs: You visit Fulfillment Centers across the Netherlands to review, evaluate, and, where necessary, improve safety plans.

• Conducting Root Cause Analysis: You investigate incidents using Root Cause Analyses and implement preventive measures to prevent recurrence

• Coaching and quality-assuring Root Cause Analyses: You support operational teams in conducting thorough Root Cause Analyses, ensuring high-quality investigations and embedding effective preventive measures to prevent recurrence.

• Developing a strong safety culture: You train and guide operational teams to integrate safety with other KPIs and contribute to a strong safety culture.
