Future Opportunities

About CoLab

At CoLab, we help mechanical engineering teams bring life-changing products to market years sooner.

We build AI for engineers designing cars, medical devices, and jet engines. Products this complex aren't sketched and sent to production. Teams spend months on iterations, reviews, and tests, predicting how every part performs before anything is built. CoLab is where those reviews happen, and we capture the rationale behind every change. Other tools show what changed between versions. Only CoLab knows why. That's how our AI helps manufacturers like Bobcat, Triumph Motorcycles, and GE Appliances make better decisions, eliminate rework cycles, and get to market faster.

Proudly based in St. John’s, Newfoundland, CoLab started with one customer in 2018. Since then we’ve raised a $72M Series C, been named the 57th fastest growing company in North America by Deloitte (Fast 500™), signed multi-year AI partnerships with companies like Bombardier, and grown to a team of 250+.

Don’t See the Right Role? Let’s Talk.

We move quickly, and sometimes new opportunities take shape before they make it to our careers page! If you’re excited about building tools that help engineering teams collaborate better, tell us about your background and the kind of work you're interested in.

Our Ideal Candidate

At CoLab, the people who make the biggest impact tend to share a few things in common:

• Drive better ways of working: You don’t default to “how it’s always been done.” You ask questions, challenge assumptions, and look for practical ways to improve how we operate.
• Operate with ownership: You take responsibility for outcomes, not just tasks. You follow through, close loops, and don’t wait to be told what to do when something needs fixing.
• Elevate the people around you: You show respect in every interaction, give honest feedback, and contribute to a team that’s aligned and improving together.

Teams & Opportunities

Building a category-defining product takes talented people across many teams. We’re always interested in meeting people who want to contribute in areas such as:

• Customer Success
• Development
• Finance
• Marketing
• People
• Product
• Sales

Note for students: CoLab hires students through direct partnerships with universities and colleges, working through their co-op and internship placement programs. We’re not reviewing applications through this posting—please connect with your school’s co-op or career office for opportunities with CoLab.
