New Business Account Manager

About Moloco:

Moloco is an AI-native performance advertising company, bringing the power of AI advertising to the open internet. Founded in 2013 by machine learning engineers who had built AI advertising systems inside the world's largest technology companies, Moloco began from a shared mission: to build that same engine for the open internet.

Today, Moloco is one company with two businesses, built on the same compound AI system. Moloco Ads is our AI-native performance advertising platform, helping mobile app marketers acquire, retain, and re-engage high-value users across the open internet. Moloco Commerce Media is our AI-native retail media platform, enabling retailers and marketplaces to turn their platforms into thriving ad businesses. Both are powered by CARA (Compound Ad Recommendation Architecture), the AI system behind every Moloco product.

At Moloco, we bring together those who've already solved hard problems and those with the drive to. Here, we work on some of the complex problems in AI advertising, at a scale and level of sophistication very few companies can offer. Come build what's next.

※ This is a New Business Onboarding 'Account Manager' role, NOT a technical role.

What You’ll Do

Client Success & Relationship Management

• Serve as the day‑to‑day execution owner for new advertisers during implementation, managing campaign setup, monitoring, and reporting while escalating complex issues to senior team members as needed.
• Understand advertiser marketing objectives and support the execution of programmatic strategies to drive KPIs and early‑stage performance.
• Support client meetings, business reviews, and strategy discussions with guidance from Senior Implementation Managers and Sales / Growth leaders.
• Build strong, trust‑based relationships with client stakeholders through clear communication, responsiveness, and attention to detail.

Implementation, Performance & Handover

• Configure and QA campaigns, tracking, and reporting to ensure accurate setup and reliable measurement from the start.
• Analyze campaign performance data to identify issues, optimization opportunities, and early signals of product‑fit; share clear, actionable recommendations with clients and internal partners.
• Identify incremental growth opportunities within existing setups (e.g., budget increases, creative tests, new geo or placement trials) and surface them to senior team members or Sales/Growth partners.
• Support the transition from implementation to the Growth team by preparing concise documentation and performance debriefs that set long‑term owners up for success.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

• Partner with New Business Sales to understand what was sold, customer expectations, and key success criteria for the first 90 days.
• Collaborate with Growth, Product, and Data Science to address configuration, measurement, and performance questions, and share client feedback that can improve our tools and processes.

AI-Powered Productivity & Tooling

• Use AI large language models (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, NotebookLM) in day-to-day work — pitch prep, app/competitor research, account categorization, performance summaries, meeting notes, and client-facing materials — to improve quality and turnaround time.
• Adopt and contribute to the team's internal AI workflows and tools, and help identify new opportunities to automate repetitive, low-value tasks.
• Apply sound judgment when using AI: verify outputs against source data, protect client and company confidentiality, and follow Moloco's responsible-AI and data-handling guidelines.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

Experience & Expertise

• 3–5 years of experience in mobile advertising, ad tech, martech, or a related client‑facing role (implementation, technical account management, account management, or customer success).
• Hands‑on experience with campaign setup and optimization, ideally on a DSP or similar performance platform.
• Exposure to data analysis, campaign optimization, or digital marketing strategy and comfort working with numbers and reports.

Skills & Mindset

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with comfort interacting with client stakeholders and translating technical concepts into clear language.
• Solid analytical skills and the ability to interpret performance data to inform recommendations.
• Familiarity with the mobile ecosystem and ad tech fundamentals (MMPs, attribution, events, tracking) is a strong plus.
• Detail‑oriented with a strong sense of ownership over assigned tasks and deliverables; able to manage multiple accounts and timelines in a fast‑paced environment.

Language & Regional Requirements

• Fluency in English and native level Chinese (Mandarin).
• Experience supporting customers in Greater China and collaborating with cross‑regional teams is a plus.
