About the Position
We are looking for an Exotic Options Trader based in NYC to work closely with our local and global options teams. In this role, you'll price complex derivatives, identify trading opportunities, and strategically manage relationships with our sell-side counterparties.
Exotic options trading at Jane Street sits at the intersection of our single stock and index options businesses. You'll collaborate closely with colleagues across products and regions, contributing to idea generation, model development, and strategic positioning. Partnering with sell-side counterparts is a core part of the business, and we are looking for someone who can cultivate these relationships and help us access flow we might otherwise miss.
We have a culture of strong collaboration both across teams and across regions, and are actively expanding our exotic options trading capabilities. We're looking for someone who brings deep product knowledge and market intuition to the team. Your understanding of complex payoffs, ability to price quickly and accurately, and willingness to push us in new directions will be instrumental in our continued growth.
Our Trading team is full of highly motivated professionals who have created a culture of trust, respect, and collaboration. Your working relationships, trader intuition, and ability to analyze special situations will add value to our team.
