Overview
We are seeking a Network Engineer with 6 to 10 years of experience to support enterprise and data center networking environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Cisco, Juniper, NVIDIA/Mellanox InfiniBand, routing and switching, and large-scale network architectures.
Your Impact
The essential functions of this position include:
- Design, configure, deploy, and troubleshoot enterprise and data center networks
- Support Cisco and Juniper routing and switching environments
- Configure and troubleshoot BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VXLAN, and Layer 2/Layer 3 networking
- Work with large-scale data center network architectures, including spine-leaf and VXLAN environments
- Perform network configuration, migration, upgrades, and troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot network performance, connectivity, routing, and switching issues
- Collaborate with server, storage, virtualization, and infrastructure teams
- Provide hands-on support during data center deployments and network implementation activities
- Assist with physical networking activities, including cabling, port connectivity, labeling, and hardware installation/validation
- Support VMware networking and integration with enterprise/data center infrastructure
- Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and configuration standards
Qualifications
- 6 to 10 years of hands-on network engineering experience
- Must be willing to travel to customer/data center locations as required
- Strong experience with Cisco Enterprise Routing & Switching
- Experience with Juniper networking platforms.
- Deep expertise in BGP, OSPF, MPLS and VXLAN
- Layer 2/Layer 3 routing and switching
- Experience with NVIDIA/Mellanox InfiniBand networking.
- Strong understanding of data center and large-scale network architectures
- Working knowledge of VMware networking and virtualization environments
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional infrastructure teams
Nice to have:
- Support NVIDIA/Mellanox InfiniBand networks, including switches, fabric configuration, and troubleshooting
