Marketing Operations Manager

Are you ready to make a lasting impact on literacy?

At Really Great Reading, we are building a bright, diverse, and passionate team dedicated to leading the industry in improving literacy scores nationwide. With nearly two decades of leadership bringing the Science of Reading to thousands of schools, we design innovative products, training, and materials that transform how educators teach and how students learn. Here, we empower our team with the tools, support, and professional growth opportunities they need to thrive in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment—where your work truly makes a difference.

Why This Role Matters

Behind every successful marketing campaign is an operation that makes sure the right message reaches the right audience at the right time, and that we can measure what happens next. At Really Great Reading, our marketing team supports product launches, state-specific campaigns, customer communications, and sales enablement, all powered by the same core systems: HubSpot, email, automation, and reporting.

When those systems work well, campaigns launch on schedule, teams have reliable data, and we can see what's working and where we need to adjust. The Marketing Operations Manager owns that reliability, turning campaign plans into working builds and keeping our marketing systems healthy as we grow.

Success in this role means campaigns launch accurately and on time, HubSpot and our marketing data remain reliable, email performance stays healthy, and our teams have the reporting and automation they need to make informed decisions and work more efficiently.

The Role

The Marketing Operations Manager is the technical and operational partner responsible for the systems, processes, and execution that keep RGR’s marketing programs running effectively.

You’ll own HubSpot administration, email health, and technical campaign execution across product launches, priority-state campaigns, lifecycle and customer communications, and sales enablement. Working closely with Product Marketing, Content, and Sales, you’ll translate campaign requirements into reliable builds, automation, and reporting. Strategy owners define what a campaign needs to accomplish; you determine how to build it well and make sure it runs.

The ideal candidate can move comfortably between marketing strategy and technical execution: equally capable of translating campaign goals into effective HubSpot builds, troubleshooting systems and data when something isn’t working, and collaborating with cross-functional partners to keep campaigns moving and measurable.
