We are looking for a proactive and analytical Strategy & Operations Associate to work closely with the leadership team on high-impact business priorities across operations, customer experience, growth, and product. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving ambiguous problems, taking ownership of initiatives, and turning ideas into measurable business outcomes.
The ideal candidate will combine strong problem-solving skills, data-driven decision-making, and hands-on execution. You will identify business challenges, develop practical solutions, lead cross-functional projects, and build scalable processes that improve efficiency and support business growth.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the leadership team to identify, prioritise, and solve high-impact business challenges.
- Analyse ambiguous problems using data, research, and operational insights to develop actionable plans.
- Lead cross-functional projects across operations, customer experience, product, growth, retail, and sales.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve efficiency, service quality, and business outcomes.
- Work with pharmacists, doctors, engineering teams, store teams, and sales personnel to drive project execution.
- Use SQL, advanced spreadsheets, and other analytical tools to evaluate business performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Develop business cases, process improvements, and operational strategies based on data and customer insights.
- Take a hands-on approach to understanding frontline challenges through customer interactions, store visits, and direct engagement with operational teams.
- Build new processes, workflows, and operating models where existing solutions are insufficient.
- Monitor project progress, measure outcomes against defined objectives, and make data-backed adjustments.
- Document processes and establish repeatable systems that enable teams to operate independently.
- Coordinate stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and drive initiatives forward without relying on direct authority.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer experience, operational scalability, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Transition completed initiatives to the relevant teams and ensure sustainable implementation.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- 3+ years of experience in strategy, operations, management consulting, growth, business operations, or a founder’s office role; alternatively, an MBA with at least 2 years of professional experience.
- Demonstrated ability to own and deliver results across at least two distinct types of business problems or functional areas.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous challenges and develop practical solutions.
- Proficiency in SQL or advanced spreadsheet analysis to evaluate business performance and support decision-making.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present clear recommendations.
- Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills, with the ability to influence teams without direct authority.
- A hands-on, execution-oriented mindset and willingness to engage directly with customers and frontline operations.
- Comfort working in fast-paced environments with evolving priorities and incomplete information.
- Ability to learn new business domains quickly and translate insights into measurable outcomes.
- Strong ownership, initiative, organisation, and follow-through.
- A degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm, M.Pharm, or Pharm.D) or experience in pharmacy, healthcare, health-tech, or healthcare operations is an advantage.
- Experience working in an early-stage or high-growth startup environment is also desirable.
