Your Impact
As a Dedrone Professional Service Manager, you will ensure successful deployment and long-term success of Dedrone’s smart airspace security solutions, supporting customers ranging from law enforcement to enterprise clients. While some pre-sales engagement is expected (e.g., demos, configuration guidance, RFP support), your primary mission is post-sales execution—driving deployments, managing customer onboarding, and building sustainable UAS detection programs.
You will be the face of Axon/Dedrone during the most critical moments: program creation, technical training, stakeholder alignment, and live-field deployments. You’ll work closely with Axon Air Professional Services, Sales, Product, and third-party vendors to deliver a white-glove experience that builds trust and delivers measurable impact to agency operations.
What You’ll Do
Location: Remote (U.S. based)
Travel: Up to 70%, primarily domestic
Reports To: Sr. Manager, Sales Engineering – Dedrone (with coordination from Axon Air Professional Services)
Post-Sales Responsibilities (Primary)
- Lead end-to-end deployments, acting as primary point of contact post-sale. This includes pre-deployment planning, hardware logistics, stakeholder alignment, on-site support, and go-live enablement.
- Deliver role-based training to customer drone teams, public safety operators, command staff, and IT teams. Tailor delivery to non-technical and highly technical audiences.
- Guide customers in creating operational policies and workflows that integrate Dedrone systems with broader agency technology stacks, including Axon ecosystem and UAS/DFR programs.
- Coordinate and manage third-party training and integration vendors, ensuring accountability and delivery quality.
- Conduct site assessments to inform hardware placement and operational design.
